Bought it as a treat for myself, it’s ok. My hair wasn’t horrendous after but it certainly wasn’t smooth. I’ll stick with Pantene hydrating butter cream which is a fraction of the price but leaves my thick, mid length hair much sleeker.

This product is amazing! It makes my wavy hair cooperate when i blow-dry it, and makes it fluffy yet not frizzy. I can tell that my hair is more healthy overall, because it doesn’t feel so dry and tangled when I wash it. It has a great smell too, and makes my hair feel like I just came out of the salon. The price is high, but you only use very little (about a nickel or dime size in your palm) so it should last you a while. I also like that it is closeable, just turn the nozzle and it locks so you can’t accidentally pump it.

Aveda makes a new formula of this product which is generally disliked by those of us who use it regularly. The new product is packaged differently. I purchased this item from Amazon based on the online familiar picture. The product picture implied I’d be getting the old formula. What I got was the new formula in the new packaging. I returned it unopened.

Ich kaufe meine Produkte eigentlich bei meinem Frisör, der hatte aber leider dieses Produkt nicht mehr. Daher habe ich einfach mal hier gesucht und bums, gefunden. Ich liebe dieses Produkt. Ich pumpe einmal und verteile die Erbsengroße Creme auf die nassen Haare. Es verteilt sich super gut. Wenn ich meine Haare trocken geföhnt habe, dann nehme ich noch einmal eine Erbsengroße Dosierung auf das trockene Haar. Damit glänzen meine Haare noch mehr und es kommen keine kleinen “fussel” Haare hervor. Der Duft ist die ganze Zeit in meiner Nase und ich liebe ihn! Genials Produkt, was echt lange hält.

Being a fan of Aveda products for many years I decided to give the smooth infusion a try. Taking on board the advice of other reviewers not to use too much product, I used two pumps and worked through towel dry hair, followed by blow drying. I really wanted to test the product so did an hour of steam ironing which would normally leave my hair looking like a fluff ball – I would score the result as a smooth 8/10. Having used the infusion twice more since it appears to improve smoothness with each use. It is expensive but you only need to use a small amount and if it delivers the results it is worth the cost.

I have a lot of thin, wavy, and damaged hair. I use this after every shower. It makes my hair ACTUALLY shiny (it’s never been shiny before!). It has a nice almost minty smell and does not leave any residue, only smooth hair. My only complaint is that you have to use a lot of product to actually see a difference which is why I only gave it 4 stars. I have had a lot of complements of how good my hair is looking since using this product (been about a month now)
