I am brown and this definitely has a white caste. My skin is very sensitive to the sun and I have developed an unfortunate allergy to chemicals found in all other SPFs. I would much rather look slightly grey from using this product than suffer another allergic reaction. Other than the grey caste it applies beautifully and skin looks well hydrated, glowy and not oily.

So far so good. I have rosacea. Which means lotions and sunscreens have been my skin’s enemy for years now. This one hasn’t made me break out as of yet. I know it’s the zinc oxide preventing that plus it has helped some with the swelling and redness. I’m happy enough with this product. Kind of goes on white-ish but clears up quick.
My only issue is how difficult it is to get out of the tube. It’s very thick and I have to mix it with a few drops of water. Other than that I’m probably going to keep using this daily forever. So few ingredients and no face burning/itching/swelling.

That’s a little difficult to put on due thickness. But bad you’re always makes a good product that is natural, and you can never go wrong with it. It did very well in preventing sunburn. It does leave your face a little white, but when you are in the sun for long periods of time, a little white is better than a horrible sunburn.

This is THE BEST sunscreen brand in my opinion. A little bit goes a long way, and I ended up giving away one of my tubes on my trip to St Lucia to help another couple.
I appreciate that Badger brand is reef safe and water resistant, so I don’t have to worry wearing it while snorkeling. I also really appreciate the 98% organic ingredients so I am not rubbing cancer causing chemicals into my transdermal skin all day. It also doesn’t leave you looking white as a ghost because of the clear zinc. All green flags!
I purchased the bottle and tube shown in my photo for a week long trip to St Lucia where I got married at the end of the week. It was SO important for me to not get burnt! And I didn’t! 100% the only brand I will purchase for sunscreen from now on.

So far so good, my youngest one has sensitive skin and I’ve tried a lot of natural sunscreens and most of them gave her a rash or burned skin, this one so far spreads nicely, no white residue

Okay, I love how natural this product is and I can say that it DOES protect very well! I used this in Hawaii many times and stayed out for hours in the while the UV index was the highest and no burns! Even my fiance, who is Irish and burns easily, was protected.
However, my problem is that I have to seriously psyche myself into being able to wear this, as it is extremely thick and oily. It leaves immense residue on everything you touch and it takes an intense scrub to get it off in the shower. It’s honestly too thick for my liking because it just makes me feel like my skin can’t breathe.
Otherwise, it’s a great product but I would just recommend it for someone who doesn’t mind feeling oiled up.

My daughter has severe eczema and very sensitive skin. We have tried a dozen different sunscreens that didn’t work for her but we didn’t have any issues with this one. We used it at splash pads and soccer practice and it provided great coverage without irritating her skin. It is a bit more “greasy” than some of the other mineral sunscreens but doesn’t dry out her skin.

I like the product. It’s very effective and incredibly it doesn’t wash off easily with soap. It lasts easily through all my outdoor activities. It does leave a light white haze though.

I love that this sunscreen rates well on Yuka and it’s very moisturizing, but it’s quite greasy. For hours after applying, if I accidentally touch an area with sunscreen on it, my fingers come away greasy. Probably works best if you’re actively in the water, not as good for everyday use. It’s not meant to be face sunscreen, but I’ve tried it on my face and it made me break out.

This is the only sunscreen I use. I am a swimmer and I never get sunburn. It goes nice and smooth on my skin and blends very well within leaving white strikes. I love that it is reef friendly.
