I absolutely love these soaps. My only complaint is I wish they were more exfoliating. I don’t know if I’m just getting lackluster batches, seeing as how I used to get kinda scrapey ones (I’ve been ordering these for a while) but that’s my only gripe. Everything else is perfect. They lather really well (enough for me to shave with since I abhor shaving cream), don’t make you feel like you’re covered in soap residue when you’re done or leave you feeling dried out. I’ve had eczema for years on my legs, and this soap is perfectly fine on it. Oh, and they smell great to boot.
All the scents are subtle yet good, and I have an X-Men like, mutant-sensitive nose. I do miss the Cempaka bar though. Maybe I’m a bit of a woo-woo hippie but I quite enjoyed it. The Charcoal one doesn’t smell like much. If I had to describe what it smells like without saying “like charcoal” I’d probably say it’s like what I imagine a Grown Up Play-Doh, For Adults, the “Unscented Scent” would smell like. Also of note, the fruity ones aren’t overbearing like I was afraid they’d be, they’re actually quite pleasant.
Bonus points because the packaging is always nice. I don’t mind leaving them out, even the box sometimes sits out on a shelf.
Overall I’d say you can’t go wrong with this soap!

The soaps have wonderful fragrances ! Delivered fast & box in A1 conditioner ! Love natural products & try to turn many others unto them. Bought last Christmas & receivers were so happy ! This is a nice Woman & Man’s set. Must say I do prefer the flat box I purchased b4 but this is very nice ! Know the quality is great ! Very Satisfied ! I tried to refrain from posting a review until i used all 6 bars of soap but i felt inclined to say something about it right now. Perhaps i should update this review after i finish all 6 bars.
I am on my 2nd bar. I first used papaya. Now i’m on vanilla.
I have been using dove’s men care bar soap religiously. Tried out all their scents and found that aqua impact was my favorite one. I love it so much, i just lather myself over and over in the shower every morning killing 1 bar every 3-4 days when normally a bar of soap lasts me 7-8 days. Showering once a day etc.
I bought this soap because i was curious. When i got it, i smelled each one and wasn’t that thrilled. It has a scent that’s for sure, but i wouldn’t call the scent welcoming.
When i first tried papaya in the shower, the scent you get from it reminds me of candle wax. And not even a nice smelling candle wax. I’m talking about just the smell of candle wax alone.
When i showered with the dove men care soap, the entire bathroom within seconds was filled with a nice aroma. After showering, i could smell the soap on my body 2-3 hours on, even in the summer time.
With this soap, i don’t even notice a smell on my body immediately after showering. I could smell it as i’m lathering my body with it. But after i rinse, and dry up, i don’t smell anything anymore.
On my 2nd bar now, vanilla, it’s slightly better. But again same thing, scent doesn’t overtake everything. It’s like washing your hands with hand soap. Smells good right then and there. Then after you rinse and dry, there’s no more smell.
The reason why i didn’t rate it lower than 3 stars is for 2 reasons.
1: It does last a long time. I have tried to lather and lather over and over each time i shower with this and it lasts almost 2 weeks. Comparing to 7-8 days normally, or 3-4 days if i over lather (like when i used dove men care).
2: It does leave your skin smooth. I have tattoos and i use lotion after each shower so my skin looks hydrated (and so my tattoos look healthy). With this soap, i get the feeling i don’t need lotion because it does a good job hydrating the skin and makes it look healthy. Although i still use lotion anyway because it’s routine for me.
I might update this review as i go through all 6 bars but i won’t be buying this again. I’ll stick with what’s been good for me. Which is dove men care.

The expiration date on all the soaps is June 30, 2024. It can easily be read on the top of the box. Absolutely no excuse for sending a product to a customer so close to expiration date.

Die Seifen riechen gut, sind schaumig und sehr angenehm für Haut und Haar. Kann mich absolut nicht beschweren. Einzig minimal negativer Punkt: Sie schäumen relativ stark und dadurch verbrauchen sie sich relativ schnell. Aber, ein Shampoo bzw Duschgel hält sicher nicht so lange wie die Seife, und wenn man den Preis vergleicht gewinnt eindeutig die Seife. Vorallem ist sie aber gesünder und besser für die Haut, da keine Chemikalien drinne sind. Meine Haut dankt es mir 🙂

The scents are wonderful, they’re strong but not overwhelming, so if you like to be able to smell the soap on you these are great! They lather up real nice, a good soft creamy foam that builds fairly quick. They don’t leave any weird residue behind either, and the inclusions in some (like ylang ylang) are small enough to not be irritating but large enough to give a nice gentle massage. So far no weird skin reactions, and I’ve been using them on hands and body for a few days now, so it seems like they’re nice and gentle too! Will absolutely buy these again!

Because I have very sensitive skin and horrible allergies, I started using organic soaps after doing excessive research as to why body washes and other soaps I used to use may be the cause of why I would have flare ups with rashes and hives. After switching to organic soaps with absolutely no chemicals or unnatural additives, I will never turn back.
These soaps are wonderful if you like more warm, earthy scents that are very mild but leave your skin soft and moisturized. I use other other popular organic soaps that have a very pronounced manly scent and I love them as well. However these I find last longer than others even though they are smaller in size. They have a pleasantly mild earthy scent to them. They leave your skin feeling clean and soft. I also like the cost compared to other popular brands and do get a great value with these along with a quality soap. If you are looking for an affordable quality organic soap and don’t mind the unique warm and earthy scents these are available in, then these are for you and you should try them.

I live in the heart of the country and winter months require layering of clothing , which leads to dry, itchy and flakey skin. These soaps are lightly scented and keep my skin from drying out so bad. My grandson suffers from eczema and regular soaps with scents exacerbate his skin condition but not Bali soaps. They rinse nicely without drying out your skin. WARNING: don’t leave the bars submerged in the bath water, they dissolve quickly! My only complaint is they are a bit pricey.
