I was looking for a new edge control and stumbled upon this on IG. I love that the formula doesn’t dry out after a few uses and I don’t have to tie down my edges when applying because the product is strong enough. My edges are laid all day and I don’t notice any flaking as long as I tie my hair down. This is also great for sleek styles as well on my type 4 hair.

This edge control cream does an amazing job of keeping my edges sleek and polished throughout the day. The formula is smooth and doesn’t leave my hair feeling sticky or crusty, which is a huge plus.
I love how it provides a strong hold without sacrificing moisture, making my hair feel healthy. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, adding a nice touch. While it worked wonders for my hair, I did notice that it might need a little touch-up by the end of the day if I’m out and about and for some reason the product started molding in the jar. Not sure if I receive a bad batch but I love it so much I just cleaned it up and kept using it. Where has this been all of my 4c life??!! This is hands down the best edge control I’ve ever used, and I’m never going back to anything else! Nothing else really worked for me anyways… ALL of the videos are true — This stuff will stick, and is slick! You will have a little build up if you don’t properly clean your edges in between applications but the trade off is worth it. AND it smells great! All my 4c girls — don’t hesitate, RUN to get this!

If you use it properly by damping your edges/hair then apply the gel and place your edge wrap/scarf on it for 5-10 minutes it will last 2-3 days. It’s definitely the best edge control on the market. I would have given it 5 stars ⭐️ but it will will eventually flake a little.

This is the best edge control I’ve ever used, and I have 4c hair. It won’t flake, hair doesn’t curl up nor does it have a bad smell. It lays down my edges all day. I definitely would purchase again.

Bask & Lather is a game changer, I have UNRULY 4C EDGES(HAIR) This Gel is the first that has kept my edges slick down in place no lifting turning into grease or have that white residue we all hate. I love their line of products. FOR ME THIS EDGE CONTROL IS THE BEST, VERY VERSATILE IT WORKS SO WELL AS BRAID GEL WITHOUT FLAKING!! I’ve been struggling to find an edge control that actually works so I was pushing the yellow Got2B but I hated how it flaked.
Someone recommended this edge control and said to put it in the freezer so that’s what I did and this is the timeline of how it held up usually with any other edge control within an hour my hair isn’t laid anymore. If you try this, put it in the freezer and thank me later!
