If you want hold but don’t want to feel like you have on Aquanet, this is the spray for you. Great hold, light aresol, and no foul hair spray smell. Plus it’s affordable.

The sprayer was attached to the plastic rim below it in 2 places. I assume to prevent the sprayer from spraying in shipping since it has a tiny plastic lid cover. I had to use a box cutter to cut it loose so it would spray (difficult). The sprayer sprayed so hard it messed up my hair. The scent smelled like a cheap dollar store spice candle. I could not use it and just threw it away in the garbage. Very disappointed since it is so expensive. If I could give it a zero rating I would.

I have two big challenges with my hair: (1) It is fine and wimpy; (2) I have a delicate scalp and am prone to products causing irritation.
So far, this product works great and helping me maintain body and it hasn’t resulted in irritation.
Minor issue: I try not to wash my hair every day. However, if I use the spray on my hair the day before and then use my iron, it definitely leaves a residue that has to be scrubbed off. The residue is more than my previous product left but then, it works better at keeping body in my hair. I’ll take the trade off.

It’s a light hold, you can brush your hair and still maintain hold all day.
