This is an old standby that’s been on the market for years. I guess that’s why I didn’t think it would work. Newest is always best? WRONG! This did just what I wanted it to on my gray permed hair. It gave me volume and it made the curls soft and loose. Love it.

Scent is good and the hold is superior but I think it’s oiled based maybe which normally isn’t an issue. However I had to wash my hair like three times to feel like I got the stuff out completely without waxy leftover feeling, so it’s fairly sturdy and won’t wash out easily like water based, so just be aware. I use it on rainy days if I’m going out so it keeps it place better without looking stupid. But I otherwise stick to water based normally.

I’ve used this years ago (along w husband who’s hard to please) and it was totally the best thing for my wacky pixie cut. Hold for days and smells like heaven. I’d stopped buying it cuz past couple years it has not been the frozen molasses consistency that you can hold upside down for 20 minutes before spilling. It was WATERY and when I got it home it just splooged all over everywhere upon opening as per usual since I’d expected the good stuff. I feel there was a reformulation (a poor one) to which the angry mob of bedhead supporters revolted against and tigi went back OG. I found many sellers on here. I sorted reviews in date order. Ones that mentioned the weak watery slime late 2018-early 2019 were NIXED. This one had much fewer yet all good reviews so I took a chance and phewph. My funky gunk is back y’all. Fixes pixie (currently blue ironically) into any shape. Forever. Your hands need a very thorough washing afterwards and a little goes a long way in short hair. Healthy hair may find this too greasy (not pomade greasy though); my hair is bleached to oblivion and I can put like lard in it (/s) and it’s fine. Yayyyy got 2 so I’m good for a while — cheaper than ONE in a brick and mortar shop!

THIS IS ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE HAIR CARE PRODUCTS in the whole wide world! Honestly, without this – I would be in horrible shape! Or, at least my hair would! My hair is “fine” and – although I do have a lot of it and, I do have quite a bit of soft natural curl, it still needs help holding its style. But – WHO’S doesn’t!! I have a total of 4 hair care products I use and this one is absolutely mandatory for shaping right after I finish drying my hair!

Excellent value for 2 jars of Bedhead Manipulator. I’ve used this stuff for years – it doesn’t make my hair feel crusty or sticky, and it has a great smell.
