Thank you Amazon for getting my packaged here within a day. You guys are amazing. So I have to say that I was so prepared to send this straightener back because I haven’t found the right size for my new pixie cut that does the job without burning my scalp because I get too close with m regular flat iron.
I gave this only 4 stars because the packaging really SUCKS!. It took forever to get it out without having to rip the whole thing up. It was that hard plastic that you have to cut up to get out. So the product is great. I was really surprised because it is thin and it was very easy to get my hair in the back and near my neck without touching my scalp. I was really impressed with it. It does have a dial for a temperature control. I set mine at 350. It would be nice to have a digital screen but this was ok. It is very light weight and so easy to use and it heats up quickly. It would be nice if it had a auto shut off. I didn’t see it anywhere that it did so. It is a great alternative to those expensive straighteners which I refuse to pay and so glad I found this gem. Highly recommend.
Edit: beware that the paint on the outside will peel off.At least on mine it did after a couple months of use

While I like this straightener overall, it is disappointing that the finish starting peeling and scratching off within the first couple of weeks. Of course it is still usable, but it already looks like I’ve had it for quite some time and I certainly haven’t been rough with it. It will sometimes snag on my hair at the ends as well, which could damage hair if not careful. I would definitely advise using a heat protector or an ends protector on your hair before using it. The size is great with my pixie cut and the fact that I can curl with it is a plus. It heats up quickly and I like the swivel cord. Im on the fence if I would buy again or not.

Heats up quick. Does not burn me. I have natural curly gray pixie cut. Most straighteners are too big for my cut or make my hair look dry and frizzy. Not this thing. I love it to straighten or put some additional curl. Highly recommend

I bought this long ago when I decided to cut my hair short. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I looked at some of the negative reviews, and most of them were about how the straightener only touches at the tip. I had never had any problems, so I went to go and check. Yes, if you clamp down with feather-like pressure, then only the tip touches each other, but as soon as you apply pressure, the whole thing touches itself. I’ve never had a problem. It heats up incredibly fast, so you don’t have to wait long to fix your hair. It’s super easy to travel with because it’s so small, and I take it with me everywhere. I’ve never been happier with a purchase, and I would definitely recommend buying this over anything else.
