ISTRUZIONI D’USO:
Spazzola in spugna di ottima qualità, molto grande. Va usata solo ed esclusivamente su capelli afro di media e corta lunghezza.
NON è adatta a capelli mossi o lisci.
Viene usata dai barbieri principalmente sugli uomini, dopo la rasatura o accorciatura del capello.
I capelli devono essere leggermente umidi, va applicato (a piccole dosi) gel, schiuma oppure crema senza risciacquo direttamente sui capelli o sulla spugna, posizionarla sulla testa e fare un movimento circolare sempre verso un unica direzione (oraria o antioraria), muovendosi su tutta la testa. Dopo qualche minuto l’effetto è completo, si formano piccoli boccoli o ondine simile a dreadlock (chiamati rasta).

My first time using this sponge on my short 1 1/2 inch hair, after washing and conditioning my hair I towel dried my hair and put a quarter size of hair oil and 2- quarter size of hair leave in conditioning cream combed thru then I took the sponge and in a circular motion went over my hair starting on either side and around back to other side then crown of head to front, I was really pleased with how it turned out so cute and it was my first time. The sponges (2) are heavy duty and worth every penny I will order more when I need more

I use this hair sponge to make small twists. My hair is short and the sponge’s holes are close enough together to create a pattern of nicely spaced twists that look very neat.
A new thing I discovered is to use the pronged side of the sponge first, then switch to the flat-holed side – so it only takes about 15 or 20 minutes to do my whole head of loose hair! I only need to use the pronged side at the beginning of a fresh set.
It’s not really so much a down side, but more the nature of the product that these sponges have a short life span. After their surface loses it’s’ initial stiffness, they don’t coil the hair as neatly and cleanly. And since you can’t really clean them except in a rudimentary way, I wouldn’t want to use them for too long anyway.
(My pics here are after using one sponge that is nearing its end of life; still a nice, casual look… just not as defined as initial use)
So I figure they’re priced to accommodate those issues and they’re packaged so someone can buy more, or less of them to suit their budget.
A worthwhile buy that makes what could be a tedious job into a very easy one. When I sleep with a silk or satin cap it’s a quickie to touch up!
