Bought this as a leave-in volumizing spray, since one I previously used was no longer available. This has a very narrow misting spray, but that allows better control of where spray goes. Provided volume, as well as some of the stability/control that a mousse would provide without the stiffness of a mousse. Very pleased with this.

This is the only volume spray I have found that works when air dried – no heat needed! It smells fantastic and lasts me all day, which is impressive because normally my hair flattens itself out less than 12 hours after washing.

I generally really like this brand and use several of their products. as crazy about this. It was pretty pricey for relatively limited benefits, while I will certainly buy biolage again I probably won’t use this again.

As the hair dries, after applying the product, it becomes a bit rigid but goes away with brushing.

EDITED: I am giving this product 4/5 stars after further use. I feel like its name and packaging are a bit misleading/unclear about the product’s function. This product volumizes by THICKENING hair. The root lifting properties of the product are average, but it does do an excellent job of thickening hair for a full volumized look. Also, using the product will take some trial and error because spraying too much product will result in clumpy, over-styled hair; too little will result in no effect. For best results, you need to spray and work the product into the full length of the hair before drying. ORIGINAL REVIEW: For volume purposes, I consider this a mediocre product. This product works mainly by coating the hair shaft with styling ingredients that form a film on the hair. This styling product offers a great amount of shine; however, it does not provide root lift. Also, it definitely has a fairly intense product feel. When I use this product, I have to be careful about how much clay I add to sculpt my hair. The best part of this product is its iconic Biolage smell. While this product is fair, there are better volumizers available.
