Love this moisturizer – I use it in the morning and evening. Makes my skin feel hydrated and smooths lines and absorbs well. No greasy feel.
My 2 cents –
Made in the USA of domestic and foreign components. This cream comes in a nice heavy jar. The cream is definitely on the thicker side and has a very mild smell to it. For heavier creams like this I only use just a bit so it doesn’t feel too greasy. I found it pretty hydrating without irritation and doesn’t leave my face looking shiny. My skin tends to feel incredibly dry especially after washing it with just water. To be honest, I haven’t really seen any difference in terms of lines but I’ve never really found any real results with other more expensive name brand moisturizers and wasn’t expecting it with this either. I think this is moderately priced and is just fine if you’re looking for some hydration for your skin.

Such a rich simple moisturizer. I bought on sale and like it, but don’t think I like it enough to buy again at full price. It’s good for the nights where your skin feels extra dry. I think every night might be too much unless you have super dry skin.

My holy grail nightly skincare consists of:
1. Cleanse
2. Tretinoin
3. Biossance Squaline
4. Snail mucin to seal it all in
My face has never looked brighter or glowed more. What a winning combo, and this Biossance was just the right product to add into the mix. Highly recommend for healthy radiant skin, especially for those nearing or in their 40s.
Doughsthoughts –
I’ve been using the BIOSSANCE Squalane + Ectoin Overnight Rescue for a few weeks now, and I love the results! My skin feels deeply hydrated and looks smoother in the morning. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and has really helped improve the firmness of my skin. A great addition to my nighttime skincare routine!

4 ½ stars rounded up to 5. The 50 ml/1.69 oz glass jar arrived boxed but not sealed, but a tabbed plastic round covered the moisturizer. Ingredients are listed on the box, and directions are on both box and jar.
This nighttime repair cream has great ingredients including glycerin, the sugarcane-derived squalane that this brand is known for, organic shorea stenoptera seed butter (Illipe butter), ectoin, two forms of lecithin, and tocopherol (vitamin E). Ectoin is new to me, but from what I’ve read it’s an excellent multi-functional active that’s very protective, so an “overnight rescue” formula is a great fit. Also included is acetyl hexapeptide-8 (aka argireline or botox in a bottle) which may help smooth skin in the short term, but to my knowledge doesn’t help build collagen, etc.
This unscented overnight rescue is firm and looks thick, but I found it easy to apply a thin layer. I still have acne-prone, combination skin, so don’t often need a strong moisturizer in the summer, but I recently started using a home microdermabrasion machine. Starting the second day after treatment, I applied this over an HA/Aloe Vera serum. My skin felt protected, soothed, and hydrated, and it looked refreshed and healthy in the morning. A lot of very hydrating oils and moisturizers give me spots, but I experienced no spots from using this nighttime repair cream.
On the box: Vegan. EWG Verified, 2 Million Sharks Saved. The company is Cruelty free, but that info isn’t listed on the box or jar. An icon states the product should be good for at least 12 months once opened. Made in the USA of domestic and foreign components.

I am in my 50s with incredibly dry, sensitive skin. My skin loves squalene, but I find most thick creams to be irritating so I wasn’t sure how this would work for me.
There is a light fragrance, but nothing too strong that it bothers me. It is fairly thick, but my skin is dry enough it really does better when layered. It’s not moisturizing enough for me.
My skin did like this moisturizer and I didn’t have any sensitivities or reactions to it.
