At first I did not like how oily the texture was. I also didn’t really care for the smell either to be honest. I was imagining a fresh tulip scent. This ain’t it. Lol! Nonetheless, I always tell myself to commit to any type of hair, skin care, or health product for a minimum of 2 weeks whilst being consistent with it so I can truly tell how and if it works. I must say, I love it now!
Once I got over knowing it would not smell like fresh flowers when I opened it up and also reminded myself it was an oil and not a serum, that changed my mindset. I used less, patted it around my face, then massaged it in every night before bed. Tip: It does not sink right in, so either use less, or leave 10 minutes to let it sink in prior to bed/putting head down on a pillow. I found this helpful and this face oil really did help brighten my skin.
Another tip after testing various things is to dab a tiny bit on your finger tips in the morning after you wash your face and gently rub it around your eye area for a fresh, brightened look! Note: if you’re in a hurry, I would not use this prior to makeup application. If you have time for it to fully sink in before makeup application, it’s just fine. Overall I like this face oil and would get it again!

Squalane makes my skin SO HAPPY. This is a rich, unscented oil that absorbs really nicely. Not only does vitamin C help with scarring and dark spots, but your skin needs it to make collagen. I’m very impressed with this list of ingredients and the results!

This facial oil feels oily when first applied to the face but absorbs into the skin well. I use it directly after toner and let it soak in/ dry for about 15 minutes before continuing the rest of my skincare routine. I noticed it definitely has helped with hydration for my dry skin and I get less flaky skin on my face throughout the day (coming from a person with extremely dry skin). The instructions say to use a dropper full of oil for the face and neck area, however, I found that half a dropper is more than enough for my face and neck. A full dropper is way too oily. I press it into my face and neck and have noticed my face looks brighter after using it. It does have a slight scent to it which I’m not big fan of but the scent doesn’t linger and disappears fairly quickly.

Normally I break out really bad with facial oils, and at first I did. I think this is prepping me for softer and more radiant skin. I seriously love this.I use it at night time and my morning starts with softer, glowing skin.
I read this is a treatment and it does. My facial scars are disappearing and I can have no makeup days more and more. The price may be more expensive than I’m used to, but having positive results, it’s definitely worth every penny.

Unfortunately, this arrived leaking everywhere. Everything except the actual product was in pristine condition, so it’s a manufacturing fault with the bottle. It’s not airtight and as a result I don’t know if the formula has been compromised. It smells a bit off, presumably from basically being open for however long it was in the warehouse. Super bummed because I was really looking forward to trying it.

Had high hopes for this, supposed to be for sensitive skin but it caused breakouts after using for several days. Only applied a few drops to begin with. There are so many ingredients, not sure if it’s caused by vitamin E or bakuchiol, whether it’s a purge or just clogged pores but I’m no longer using on face. No irritation using on neck and decolletage.

I have seen Bloomeffects sold at Credo Beauty, so this is a legit brand and not some off-brand item. This is important to me because I want to make sure I’m not putting pure junk on my face and not knowing what it truly is. Now about the item itself. The main ingredient in this vitamin c facial oil is squalane (70%) which you can essentially get elsewhere for way cheaper. Aside from thinking this is just overpriced fancy squalene, it does exactly as intended and has other benefits. The directions tell you to use one dropper full day & night, but I find that just three small drops is plenty to cover my entire face. If I used the entire dropper, I would be dipping in oil. There is no noticeable smell to it, which is nice especially after seeing the long list of extended ingredients/benefits. The bottle and dropper are both of high quality. There’s even little ridges/feet on the bottom on the bottle to help stabilize it when on the counter. This vitamin c facial oil definitely moisturizes and brightens your skin, without irritation. Aside from being 70% squalane (moisturizes), it also has sodium hyaluronate (hydrates and plumps), vitamin E (repairs & rebalances), Bakuchiol (smooths, firms, and tightens), vitamin B3 (strengthens skin barrier), and 20% vitamin C (brightens). If you want something to give you that glowing appearance without clogging your pores, this is the oil for you. It doesn’t absorb fully into your skin, leaving your skin with a dewy look. Just make sure to apply this last in your skincare regimen.
