I’m a big fan of of spray sunscreens but my favorite- NoAd – left the market years ago. The other brands I’ve tried tend to either be oily feeling with a long lasting residue or they show a white cast to the skin from the mineral sunscreen. This one goes on great and does neither. The spray goes on well, absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel oily or sticky. I also don’t detect any white residue such as you get from mineral sunscreen screams and lotions. If it wasn’t for the fairly high price, this would be perfect.
Update 9/20/24 I took off one star for this issue. While I don’t intentionally get sunscreen in my eyes it does happen. With this product I find it irritates my eyes more than most and the problem can occur hours after application. For example, I put the sunscreen on my face almost 12 hours ago. I just put in eye drops and as I was wiping away the overflow I accidentally rubbed some of the residue sunscreen (which I can still feel on my face) into my eyes. It stung and impaired my vision for several minutes. This has happened several times and only occurs on those days when I have applied this sunscreen. My regular face care products from companies such as Aveeno and CereVe don’t cause the same problem.

My dermatologist recommended this brand. I am fair-colored, with very sensitive skin. I need quality sunscreen with UVA/UVB protection and a product that will not break out my skin. I was excited to find it in spray form, water-resistant, AND for sensitive skin! I play pickleball for hours at a time and get very sweaty, so I thought this would be perfect. Unfortunately, the second time I used it, the cap locked up and I was unable to use it. I even asked 3 other players to try the sunscreen–maybe it was a user error—but no one could get the sunscreen to spray. When I press the cap down, it just makes a clicking noise but nothing comes out. It’s a brand-new bottle and a full product. It is not a cheap product so I am pretty disappointed.

This sunscreen is so easy to spray on my toddler, and is not as thick in consistency as other sunscreens with zinc. Love it!

This sunscreen is amazing. I love that it’s a mineral based because it gives the beat coverage while also being soft and smooth. No oily feeling/sheen or white cast whatsoever! I love the stick for my face too. The stick leaves a small white cast but rubs in easily and then feels so soft rather than oily!

I love Blue Lizard sensitive sunscreen, but this application bottle really stinks. It will only spray for about 5 seconds before it stops and I have to wait about 10 minutes for it to prime itself back up to spray for 5 seconds, and on and on. If I can’t get the sunscreen out of the bottle easily, it really defeats the purpose.
