I ordered two boar brushes to try, and I was surprised that the cheaper version, (this one) worked better! I was so shocked that I tried them twice hours apart and this one continued to out perform. It’s fits into my hand with no problems and issues, as I tend to have stiffness in my joints, the oar bristles have just the right tension to control my locks without pulling or breaking my stressed 4C natural hair. My hair was brushed and manageable in minutes. The brittles did not fallout when brushing my hair and the spacing is a plus for gliding through the strands and distributing my hair’s natural oils. My scalp tends to be tender, so I don’t care a hard brush bristles, these would be a medium not too soft and definitely not too hard. I would buy again and I highly recommend for any hair type.

The brush is pretty but the bristles are not strong enough to get through my and my hair is not thick nor course. I gave this 2 stars because it’s a good looking thing but for functionality it sucks.
