This product is less than half the price of the more well-known Toppik which is what led me to try it out along with the fact that there is no ammonia like Toppik contains in its much longer list of ingredients.
It was very easy to apply by just shaking it over the thin spots after already styling my hair and patting it into the hair as they tell you. The fibers do a good job at naturally clinging to and between the hairs you have. A quick spritz of hairspray helps secure the fibers in place and wiping any extra fallout from your face or counter is painless. I haven’t had any noticeable fallout going about my day and nobody has clocked that I’m using the product. They would have to be pretty close and specifically looking for it.
I did accidentally order a too light of a shade and it looked like dust in my hair, but their customer service was super helpful and refunded me so I could reorder a better match and this one was right on the money. It made a HUGE difference and I would definitely recommend you go darker if you are between shades like they say or maybe just goa shade darker anyways. I have a medium cool toned brown color and the Ash Brown worked perfect for me. This is one of the few shades that other hair fiber companies don’t have. This brand definitely seems to have the most.
Unfortunately I have thinning at my hairline which is perhaps not the best use for hair fibers as it is much more likely to be noticeable right in the front if you have a lot of scalp showing through, so I have to try and get the right balance of improving the thickness without getting too much falling onto my scalp. They do not offer a spray applicator, but they are available from other providers and I feel this would definitely help for hairline applications.
For crown thinness it works much better but I would caution against using it in completely or near bald areas as it can only do so much and relies on sticking to hairs you do have. I’ve seen a bunch of videos of people with barely any hair using hair fiber products and they never zoom in close…I can imagine that’s for a reason. Without hair, it’s just going to look like astroturf on your scalp.

I’m 25 and suffering from receding hairline and balding on the crown. I know this is hereditary, and it’s dampened my self confidence so much.
I am always conscious of people looking at me, especially my head when around colleagues at work and friends.
People joke about this type of stuff, and there will be a time to embrace baldness – it’s inevitable.
HOWEVER – Don’t give up yet if you still have hair no matter the condition, work with what you have got.
I found Boldify by looking for TEMPORARY measures to conceal baldness.
I can honestly say, the results are insane – look at my photos! Yes, that is the same head!
This power has the consistency of a styling powder.
When it touches your skin and scalp, it naturally sits and almost sticks to your scalp.
I use my phone camera reflect the back of my head in a mirror, whilst using the other hand to apply the powder.
After a couple shakes around the affected area, you are good to go.
For longevity, spray a very light misting of hair spray to lock in the fiber powder.
I have had this last up to 4-5 days on my scalp – without washing with shampoo. Sometimes I need to touch up, but barely. Note to start it may feel itchy, but resist the urge to scratch otherwise it might come off.
With hot water itself, it does come off if you rub in that area too.
Shampooing the area does remove it easily, but if you are self conscious you will find it leaves small brown grains at the bottom of your shower which you might need to rinse away.
Other than that, I can carry it anywhere with my toiletries when travelling and the branding doesn’t give off balding vibes – only “boldify your hair”.
The colour is a perfect match, I have gone for light brown as I have blondish brown hair.
This is only a temporary solution, and maybe in the future I will look at other options or give up and go bald bald.
But honestly, don’t give up and ruin your confidence just yet. WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE!
Just try this for the cost – I feel amazing in myself now and I can enjoy my hair for longer – because who wouldn’t?

Update: The company emailed me offering a refund & said I didn’t have to send the one I have back. I thanked them but said it wasn’t necessary. Nevertheless they issued a full refund! I’m beyond impressed & words can’t express how blown away I am with them. I’ll definitely give them another chance. Changing my star to 4.
Powder that is ok if you’re only covering small areas. It will get on everything around you when you pat it down. It should be washed out before bed unless you don’t mind it on your pillow. Check your face & hands (entire body really) before you go out in public. I’m going to stick to hats & scarves.

My husband is dealing with some patchy alopecia and his new growth is stark white. That whole patch you see in the photo is the new regrowth which, without this is a huge white circle. We are amazed at how well this does at blending his patch in to more of the salt and pepper color the rest of his hair is. This should fill in more and more as his treatments continue and his hair fills in more. I’m so happy this has given him some confidence back because he can’t wear a hat all day at work.
