It’s easy to accidentally over-apply, and I don’t like the heavy, sticky texture it leaves in my hair. It is great for volumizing, but it’s very hard to lather your hair when washing after using this. Requires a ton of shampoo.

This product adds volume to your hair. It doesn’t have a scent, which is good. My hair is fine and tends to be flat on the top. I spray a little on my scalp and lightly brush it thought. The consistency is like a chalky powder and does the trick to add volume and texture. Just know your hair will feel chalky, but I don’t use much.

This product works really well for adding volume. A little (like a really, really small amount) goes a really long way. The first time I used it, I made the mistake of fully depressing the top and my hair was literally stuck together until I washed it. I quickly learned to just sprinkle a small amount on the roots by depressing the top just a tiny bit, or sprinkle directly onto fingertips and push up into the roots manually. It does make your hair dry; would say it has the consistency of multiple days of dry shampoo. Definitely recommend thoroughly and carefully brushing out your hair before washing to avoid breakage. Also suggest using with a clarifying shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner to avoid product buildup at the scalp but restore moisture, and a leave in conditioner or hair oil (like It’s a 10 or Ghost Oil) before blowdrying so you don’t dry our and damage your hair (especially mid-shaft and ends that don’t get natural oils).

I currently use the PUFF ME (which I love) volumizing powder. Anyone who uses these knows that most of them are sticky, clumpy, etc. The puff me is a very fine powder and gives some volume but you have to use a lot more if you want added volume, which is why I ended up trying this one. Based on the experience that I had with Puff Me, my expectations for this were high; especially after reading the reviews. this morning, I used it before work, and I am now spending the rest of my day livid as my head looks like a giant bird nest. My normal hair texture is fine, but I have lots of it and have an a-line bob with an undercut. I generally only use the volumizing products in the crown area as this is all I need. I followed my normal routine; wash, bowdry, round-brush and volume powder. On the first spray of this stuff, it came out hard and fast and very granular looking… ok… proceed to spray 2 and I used only half a spray and I got the same thing. I proceeded to try to work with it, and the more I attempted to brush it out, the more matted and disgusting it looked to the point that I cannot get a brush through it. I am sitting at work now and God only knows what the hell is going on in the back of my head. I had freshly washed hair to start with and it now looks like I have 3 day old hair with a crap load of dry shampoo and texture spray in it. I requested a return,, and unfortunately will continue to pay up for the puff me. Save yourself the pain and sticky fingertips; do not buy this trash…. 1 star was the only option.

Took a little while to learn how much to use and where (at the roots .. for my style , in clumps), but once mastered , thinning looking hair looks full and stays that way 24 hours .
