This is a great product and in my opinion well worth the cost. When using follow the directions and be sure to scrub your scalp well because not only does it make it look fuller but it also stimulated hair growth (according to my hair stylist). Don’t panic as you closer to the recommended 1 minute use your hair will get very full but again I think this is normal since I’ve been using the product for 1 1/2 years and always had the same effect.

It has a scent to it that’s a little strong but it’s not offensive at all and there’s really no scent after it’s washed out.. I don’t wash my hair everyday because it’s colored but on the 2nd day my hair still looks fuller but not as much as the first. You may feel a slight tingle around your hairline which doesn’t hurt but just a tingle that does go away after your hair is rinsed.

Because it’s a little pricey I started out with using a cheaper conditioner that’s supposed to plump hair fibers but they didn’t work together. I highly recommend that you buy the conditioner as well.

If your hair is colored be sure to get the one that calls out it’s safe for colored hair. I haven’t had any issues with this destroying/stripping the color.

This shampoo works well for me. I turned 60 last year, and have noticed my hairline was getting thin.
I used this Bosley shampoo for about 3 months, and I do notice new healthy hair growing again.
The value for this size is a good deal!

Lost a lot of hair due to malnutrition on a not so smart diet. Restored my hair over time , within 3 months. Conditioner is not heavy, though you would think it might be as thick as it is. Didn’t weigh down my fine hair.

I noticed my hair started falling out around 5 years ago. Im 57 years old now. After I’d wash it and comb it out, crazy amounts of hair would be in my comb and all over the sink and floor. I would find hairs everywhere! In the dishwasher, refrigerator, and tangled in my hands while I was washing dishes. I would constantly feels hairs falling down my arms and legs throughout the day! It was bad enough I had super thin baby fine hair to begin with! It wasn’t until about a year ago when I started noticing bald spots! I was panicking so I decided to try this shampoo and conditioner. I wash and rinse my hair then I put the conditioner on my scalp only and leave it on for about 5 minutes. I would say it is falling out about 75% less! Not sure if it’s helping with hair growth yet. I would highly recommend these products!

As I come to a certain age, I’ve become more aware of the things I use daily as they affect my physiology. Specifically, in this case, shampoo. I’m not bald or particularly thin on top, but like most everyone else, my hair is positively thinning as I age. Such is nature. So I’ve been trying to use more “natural” alternatives, with the thought that perhaps I can keep from accelerating the thinning process by using a sulfate free shampoo. It’s my understanding that sulfates in shampoo, while aiding in sudsing, can also be somewhat strenuous on the ol’ follicles. I started with Burts Bees shampoo, and while I liked it, it seemed to leave my hair feeling a bit stripped out. Eventually I needed to look for a replacement and a few searches recommended this as a potentially scalp healthy shampoo.

I have to say, this Bosley Revive Shampoo seems pretty good. It’s sulfate free, comes in a LARGE bottle/quantity, and leaves my hair feeling clean without being stripped out. Some have complained about it being hard to squeeze from the bottle. Well, it’s not THAT hard, but it IS a large bottle and this large bottle is filled with a product that is sort of “gel” like in texture. So I can see the difficulty. Personally, I like it. It seems to suds-up well and it gives a brisk cleansing feeling on the scalp. Not unlike when applying solarcaine to a sunburn, cooling and pleasant. I can’t say this has helped me grow more hair, but after having used it for a few months, the thin spots don’t seem quite as thin. This may simply be a function of a thickening agent, but my hair does seem thicker and healthier. I haven’t been losing hair at a particularly alarming rate, but it’s been noticeable. And this shampoo has seemed to help offset the pace. If you’re unhappy with what you’re using, I’d say give this a try. For 5 stars, as this product relates to me, would require a much more obvious hair growth.

not sure it worked on my hair

I have had hair problems since my mid teens, so I really don’t expect miracles. I used Nioxin when it first came out, but then it stopped working. Bosley has such a good reputation in the hair restoring field. I am a bit surprised this product is causing such dryness and making my hair so hard to manage. I do not use conditioner because all of it weighs my hair down. I will keep using the product because I bought the 33.8 oz size…. maybe a sample size would have been more appropriate? Live and learn. I am open to any suggestions concerning conditioner…. honestly even those designed for “visible thinning hair” leave mine gmmy, sticky and flat, no matter how well I rinse. Here is a post script, I had my hair trimmed about a week after I wrote this review, and my hairdressed said my hair appears to be thicker, so maybe if I keep it trimmed that will take care of the dry ends.
