My wavy hair (2a/2b) is fine, low/medium density, and easily weighed down, but also chemically processed, damaged, and in desperate need of moisture. I got this mask as part of the wavy trial kit, and expected it to be WAY too heavy for my hair. It wasn’t!
This is definitely not “weightless”. It is a mask, after all. But it is shockingly lightweight for something that’s so moisturizing. I have gotten more weigh-down from regular conditioners, and less moisture from heavy masks.
For my hair, weight and moisture is a trade-off, but out of all the products I’ve tried, this strikes an excellent balance.

– L’Oreal Wonder Water hyaluronic acid rinse right after shampooing
– Verb Ghost Conditioner for normal use
– This mask when your hair needs a serious moisture infusion (or use it more often, but only apply it to the bottom inch or two)
