TLDR: this hair 1) does not heat set 2) frizzes super easily 3) causes allergies for sensitive skin 4) is not truly ombré
I am honestly beyond confused as to how this hair has good reviews. The only good thing about it is how lightweight it is but overall it’s a complete waste of money.
Firstly, the hair DOES NOT HEAT SET as advertised causing super frizzy and dry looking ends that unravel. The pictures I included were taken the day after installation. As you can see, after one attempt to heat set the hair with hot water, the ends looked terrible.
Secondly, the entire length of the hair frizzes up easily and unravels from the braids. The day after installation, the braiding hair was already starting to poke out from the braids. My knotless box braids from my usual braider typically last me 2 months. At the rate this hair is frizzing, these braids will barely last me 3-4 weeks.
3) This hair has caused rashes on my face on the daily (even after precleansing the hair with ACV). Admittedly I have sensitive skin but I have never had braiding hair break me out to this extreme.
4) The hair is not truly ombré. I wanted black hair with gradual green ends as advertised in the photo. Instead my braids look almost entirely green which I really don’t like the look of.
Long story short, I saved money on the hair but it’s resulted in me wasting so much money on the braids themselves since this set will barely last the month and does not look nearly as good as my box braids usually do. Lesson learned..just spend the extra 10-20 bucks to buy quality kanekelon hair from a beauty supply!

The hair is so easy to braid with! You don’t even need to dip it if you don’t want to. Doesn’t tangle really and it’s cute!

This hair is soft but it gets itchy like other hair. It is not human hair but it is braiding hair that gets the job accomplished. The texture is soft and easy to use and install. Yes it tangles if you do not handle with care. Any hair gets tangled so that is not a deterrent or a deal breaker. It looks awesome and when you apply the hot water to curly the hair along with an instrument to curl it looks very nice. The curls do fall after a while and you are able to re-curl the hair. The hair itself is a bit thick in density which gives a fuller look when the right amount is used.

Everything about this product is on point. The length is as advertised, but what I love the most is the softness. Even after I did a cleanse it still remained soft. I did not encounter tangles and I was able to grip each strand without any issues. You also receive additional items, colorful rubber bands, and a latch hook crochet needle. The video and photos that I provided were taken after I cleansed and separated the strands for braiding. It is not packaged the way it appears in my photos.

I used this hair for the mermaid braids hairstyle and I was skeptical because it was different from the brand suggested by the creator of the style and the hair I used to do the same style on my mom. However, I would argue that this brand has preformed better than my mom’s in terms of softness! I did prep the hair prior to install by first dipping in hot water, then blow drying, and then flat ironing. This made the hair even softer than it already was and it was a breeze to braid it in with minimal tangles. Since the hair is out though, it WILL tangle just as human hair would so I treat it the same – I brush it and put it into two big braids at night with my silk bonnet and it doesn’t look ragged or stiff! I included pictures of me with the style in 3 days after I finished when it’s dry with soft waves, and another after having them in for one week. I just re-dipped the hair to refresh the curls. I’ve never loved a hairstyle so much. I also only used 3 out of the 8 packs, and I have thick, long hair, so it is an EXCEPTIONAL value for the money.

I ordered 26 in. 8 pack, I’m am about 5’9 and my braids falls under my waist. Satisfied with the texture did not have much tangling unless I did something to cause it myself. Overall I’m very satisfied with the price and length of the hair as well as texture, it’s soft hair not crunchy. There are fly aways but that is to be expected and a little mouse or trimming them away fixes that. No chem smell or itchy scalp
