My Model 7 shaver was pretty much a wreck. It was dirty, corroded and was a mess that did not perform well. I had never changed the head and was confused by all of the replacement parts available on Amazon. So, I ordered the one that clearly had Braun packaging. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time (about a week) and I removed the old head and soaked the shaver in rubbing alcohol to clean it up as best I could. I was skeptical that the new part would fit but it was perfect. It has given my old shaver a new lease on life. I would have given it 5 stars (the performance is very good now) but the cost is too high. It was actually shipped to me from somewhere in the UK and so it took time. The “free shipping” probably adds greatly to the cost. But, it you cannot find a genuine replacement part in the US, this one is a good choice.

My Braun Razor has been half a million miles with me and it still works great. I replace the head every 14 to 15 months.

I’ve had this razor for several years now. I tend to replace the blade cassette every year especially when it isn’t giving as close a shave as it should. I have tried the others on occasion but they didn’t last as long. This one is supplied by Braun and I have never had a problem with their products. I know that the others are sometimes a lot cheaper, but it’s my face and I’m going with a known manufacturer and supplier. No hesitancy on my part to recommend this product. PS: Easy replacement.
