Tried it because it was less expensive. When I shaved with it for the first time, I noticed that it seemed to be nicking my skin. I disregarded this because I thought it was new, etc.. ( The best answer I could think of) The second time I shaved, it happened again. Returned for refund. This is a cheap knock-off and does not measure up to the quality of Braun. Spend the few extra bucks and get a product that works.

i did not want to buy this product simply based on the ridiculous price, however, after reading the bad reviews on the knock off replacement heads I didn’t want to take the chance of buying something substandard and not being able to return it since this is a hygiene item. That being said this head works just as the original and proved that my original head after 18 months was in fact dull. Good product but very much overpriced. After all, if you buy two of these you could just buy a brand new shaver with a new cleaner and solution.

This made a huge improvement in the quality of my shaves. The sharpness degrades over time and you simply must replace the shaver head. This is the OEM replacement head that is made by the manufacturer in Germany. It is not an aftermarket head made elsewhere, like China. It matters.

The Braun 83M Series 8 Replacement Foil and Cutter Cassette is so good, it’s practically given my razor superpowers. Installing it was like giving my old, tired razor a shot of adrenaline straight from a superhero serum. Now, every shave is smoother than a freshly buttered pancake!
This thing is so sharp, I’m half expecting my razor to start slicing through space-time. It glides over my face like it’s auditioning for a role in a sci-fi movie. My beard doesn’t stand a chance; it’s like my razor’s on a mission to become the James Bond of grooming tools. 🕵️♂️
Switching out the old foil and cutter was so easy, it felt like I was playing with LEGO. I kept expecting my razor to start singing “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John, celebrating its newfound youth.
In short, if you want your razor to feel like it’s just had a makeover on a reality show, get this cassette. Your face will thank you, and you might just catch your razor trying to save the world—or at least give you a fantastic shave! 🎉🦸♂️
