I learned through research that the 94M head will fit in place of the 92S that my razor had originally. One of my beefs with the 92S was if I skipped shaving for more than 2 days it had a really hard time trimming the longer hairs and I usually had to pull out the trimmer to get them all shaved off. This is not the case with the 94M – one of it’s big differences is Braun says it will cut up to 7 days of beard growth and what I can say is it definitely does a much better job on longer hairs. I generally will go 2-3 days between shaves and the only hair I have had to trim was a few stray hairs, probably left over from the 92S I had, that had gotten 1/4″ long. Once they were all cleaned up I have had nothing this head would not cut down to the skin.
I am very pleased with its performance and the improvement over the old 92S head.
One thing to be aware of is the 92S has a more shiny finish that matches my older razor where as the 94M is more matte. It is still silver but does look slightly different. I don’t notice this after the first few uses but if you are super picky about cosmetics, be aware it will look very slightly different.
Also, there are a lot of imitations of these Braun cutter heads out there – I suggest sticking withe name brand even though it costs more.

The Braun electric shaver head replacement part 94M is a lifesaver. It fits perfectly with the Series 9 Pro and Series 9 razors. Replacing it was easy and now my shaver works like new again. If your razor’s feeling dull, this part is a quick fix—just make sure you get the right model!

I previously bought one similar to this. It was $50.00 and made in China. I tried ot for 2 weeks., pulling hair, cutting face and literally leaving me look unshaven. Today, I tried my newly acquired shaver made in Germany. What a difference, this one worked perfectly. No stubble and clean shaven with no cuts. Dont get fooled by the lesser expensive ones, they don’t work.

I have had my Braun series 9 for years. Yes they say you should replace the head frequently but at $70 a replacement, I just used what came in the box all this time. This is the first time a felt a slight tug while shaving and decided it was time. Swapped this one out and now it is smooth! The clean sharp blade reminded me of when I first got my hands on the series 9. The pro version cuts on one pass now. Before I would have some stragglers that needed 2-3 passes. Glad I replaced. It feels like a brand new razor.

I made the mistake of buying a non-Braun knock off on Temu (way cheaper). Mistake! Felt like the blades were made of plastic, returned it through Temu (otherwise have had good experience with Temu). These Braun replacements are cheaper now, they used to be close to a $100. Anyway the Braun replacement was fantastic, made the razor feel like new.
