Let me start with the fact I’ve never used an epilator and read several reviews about this one before purchasing. I REALLY hate shaving because the hair grows back before I’m done with both legs! So when I read reviews saying that the hair grows back slower and finer over time, I was sold on getting it. I tried it and here’s my likes and dislikes.
Likes: easy to use, can use in water, battery life is good (didn’t die after doing both legs and underarms), relatively quick, the light is AMAZINGLY helpful
Dislikes: DON’T USE DRY because it hurts like hell, you still need to use a razor after to get the finer hairs, not good for tender skin (like inner thighs)
Overall, I enjoy the product and plan to keep using it. It’s been one whole day and my legs are still smooth. I’ll update my review later with more information.

I’ve used epilators before with less than satisfactory results, but I bought this after reading so many reviews. I expect it to hurt at first because I’m not new to epilators, but I was stunned on my first use of this one. It’s very effective. I have very dark, course hair and I’m so tired of shaving because I had a skin condition that causes it to be irritated from shaving often. I can’t believe how good this thing works. When I did my arm pits, it blew me away at how good it worked. I’ve used it now twice (got it for Christmas) and it works very well. I’m very pleased. I have seen some mention the battery life not lasting long but I did both legs, arm pits and some facial spots and the battery was still going strong. Very happy with this item!

As I have gotten older I have been getting more chin hair. Ugg, so embarrassing.Have tried various things.
But hair grew back fast. Was afraid to give friends and family cheek kisses, afraid they would feel stubble.
I saw another epilator advertised on one of those popup ads. Then went to my favorite shopping site. Saw several different epilators. Settled on the Braun. I am very happy with it. I was afraid it would really hurt but because it has two speeds you can start with the slower one until you get used to it. It’s a little uncomfortable but not bad. The massage tool that comes with it helps. To me a little discomfort is worth the results. After using it my chin stays smooth for many days. With shaving stubble was back next day. Also used on legs without hardly any discomfort.

Working ok . I’ve been buying these epilators for many years now , using them on and off Being able to use them in the water is a big deal for me . This one in particular is very silent in the water , that make it easier for me to use when my kids are asleep. Wish they would last longer though, I have to buy a new one every 2,3 years. I have super sensitive skin and I cannot shave very often so I would wear leggings or jeans for a while. I get super bumpy after I use the epilators just because my skin is very sensitive but i get better after couple of hours . For people that never used a epilator before there is some pain at least for the first time but after that should become easier. Oh and the trimmer is the best trimmer I ever used . Really amazing *Update It’s been 6 months now and the epilator battery does not last more then 5 min , very disappointed 😢

Compré este producto con muchas expectativas de que fuera más eficiente. Sin embargo, quedé un poco decepcionada porque desde mi perspectiva, el arrancamiento del vello no es tan eficiente, hay vellos que no son detectados por la máquina. Tuve un modelo anterior de la misma marca (BRAUN Xelle Silk-Epil Epilator Model #5395) y percibo que hasta el crecimiento del vello era más tardío. Por otro lado, si tiene funciones buena que versiones anteriores no tenían, por ejemplo, que es inalámbrica y se puede mojar.

First impression, easy to set up but a bit intimidating to use. This is my first epilator experience so I wanted to make sure I purchased the best device out for the price. Plus, I grew out my hair for 3 months for best results. I first used it on my armpits and it was pretty painful but the results were amazing. I did nick myself couple times in the more fleshy areas, so be careful to stretch out your skin to prevent it. Luckily after a day or two the soreness wore off. Then, I decided to use it on my legs next, this time I tried it after a bath and it was less painful. I also feel like my skin isn’t as dry as it gets after I shave.
