I was buying the cheap dupe and noticed a separation between the brush and the unit and it began catching my lip when brushing my teeth. Read a review of the dupe and someone (thanks, whoever you are!) had the same issue and recommended buying these. So glad I did and well worth the extra cost over the cheap dupe. Perfect example of you get what you pay for.
