I accidentally bought a 2 pack of imitations and soon discovered that genuine Braun can’t be beat. A Braun shaving head provides a fast, smooth comfortable shave. I can get a clean shave from heavy stubble in a couple minutes where the imitations take about 5 minutes and just rip the hairs off my face. Buy the real deal as these last significantly longer than the imitations.

I probably should have changed this foil a long time ago but it took a scratched up face and confused owner to realize that the 10 year old foil had a cut in it. The motor on these Braun Series 7 savers will probably outlive me but the foils need to be replaced periodically just like you need to replace your car engine oil. This foil looks (and I studied it with a magnifying glass) just like the German made original. I read the negative reviews about faulty foils and broken parts and I really have to wonder on the motivations of those reviewers. This one I bought says “Made in Germany” on it, works great and feels very smooth on my skin. Pull the trigger before your face ends up looking like mine with did with scratches after I eventually found out that the foil doesn’t last forever, like the motor. (There is nothing like a Series 7 Braun shaver to wake you up in the morning – that motor sounds like a jet engine in your ear. Best used after your first cup of coffee 🙂

La technique des têtes tournantes chez la concurrence de Braun est nettement moins performante.
La grille et le système de couteaux sont solides et durent facilement un an avant d’envisager un remplacement.

I’ve always had irritable skin and using disposable razors always caused me to break out and have razor burn. I’ve had several different electric razors over the years, but this is the first coil one I’ve used. I have the least amount of razor burn and discomfort from this razor. I feel like the shave is very good and clean.
The last cartridge I had lasted nearly 2 years and it really wasn’t worn out. The quality of razor and material is definitely top of the line. The razor body is also one of the most solid razors I’ve used. It has some real heft to it and is very solid.
If I had to complain about anything I would say it isn’t the easiest thing to get fully clean. I can run it under water for quite a while and it continuously gets more out. I know they want their customers to use the cleaning/charging station with their cleaner cartridges so they can make money off them. It works well, but I’m not a big fan of it.
I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good razor.

Der Braun Kombipack 70S hat mich überzeugt. Die Rasur mit dem Scherkopf verläuft angenehm gründlich und hinterlässt eine glatte Haut. Ich nutze ihn für die Gesichtsrasur und er erfüllt seinen Zweck gut. Die Qualität des Scherkopfes ist offensichtlich, und er geht sanft mit meiner Haut um, was mir gefällt. Ein klarer Vorteil ist die Langlebigkeit des Kombipacks.

If you have a 700 series Braun razor, these foils are familiar. I use mine four days a week with a blade shave on Mondays and these last about 2 years that way, so the cost is minimal per shave. It’s a convenience factor, really, and though I have to go over most areas several times, especially as they get older, these foils and razor are great for shaving while traveling. The associated cleaning and lubricating station is a bonus, too.
