A year ago I bought new Braun shaver heads. I decided to get a cheaper brand due to cost and paid about 1/3 price. BIG MISTAKE! Braun heads give a smooth shave without the tugging or ripping out of whiskers like the cheap brands. A good shave is worth the price.

I buy a lot of generic equivalent refills for things like air filters but not for electric razor heads. The authentic Braun heads are made in Germany, not China, and I trust them more than generics. I typically get 12-18 months of daily use before they get too dull to perform; the other thing that wears out is the screen, which can develop tiny breaks or holes. When you see that, it’s time to replace. So I’m satisfied with this replacement head. I only wish it wasn’t quite so costly, but I understand the difference between European and Chinese wages and don’t begrudge workers who need to be paid a living wage.
