This pillow is wonderful and works great on our bed. Per the instructions that come with this pillow, I lay on a pillow, from the neck down, to ease the transition from the height of the face pillow and the bed. This is a very well made face pillow and works perfectly for me.
I believe this is a five star face down pillow.

Got it for retina surgery, after which I had to lay face down full-time for a week. The cover material was soft, but the foam was very stiff and my face was sore from the pressure. It was better than the chintzy foam pillow with minute ventilation the surgical center sent me home with. This would be a better product if the bottom layer was stiffer for support and top layer was a softer, more pliable foam. The cord on the cover, which allows it to be pulled to fit better, broke. The other top selling face cushion had warnings of “frequently returned product”, so I’m glad I picked this one.Life pro tip: make sure to also lay on a flat pillow to align the spine or you’ll have a sore neck.

I have changed my review from 1 start to 5 stars because seller offered a full refund of the product’s cost. I offered to return the product, but they did not require it. Quoting them:
“Thank you for getting in touch. I have issued a full refund and there is no need to return the product. We are sorry that our product did not work for you on this occasion and please do not hesitate to contact us if we can help your further.”
Even though the pillow did not fit me at all, the fact I was able to get a refund (with or without the return) this late in the game indicates great customer service, which means that customer will be satisfied whether the product works or not — and thus 5 stars.

I had to lay face down after a vitrectomy for one week. This pillow made it so much more bearable. After a day or so, the material was a bit uncomfortable but all I had to do was find a velvety soft cloth for under my forehead so it still gets 5 stars. The thickness was helpful and the little edge cutout kept it in place for placing on a box on my lap so it wouldn’t slide off. Overall, this was a well thought out design and it’s obvious that someone with my same issue designed it. Thank you!

This product did not work for me. I think it could be valuable for other people but it has only made me feel like I’m choking while trying to sleep so I don’t use it anymore unfortunately. It also ripped as I was trying to get it out of the cover which was annoying and the cover sustained water stains from a small spill. It also causes problems because it’s quite tall and elevates your head a lot which can cause back pain. Not a huge fan of this product but it could just be me.

The perfect pillow for face down sleeping/resting after eye surgery. The cool bamboo cover is very comfortable. It is also easy to remove, wash and air dry. The memory foam cushion means it doesn’t collapse overnight. There is also a drawstring to pull the two “horns” closer together for the ultimate comfort.

I was really hoping this pillow would help while I heal from a BBL surgery. It doesn’t. It’s uncomfortable. The holes air holes at the bottom collapse into the bed when you rest your head on it. It SMELLS. I aired it out for a few days and STILL it smells. If it was comfortable I would probably be able to tolerate the smell with maybe a pillow mist or something but it’s not even comfortable. My neck is worse than if I were to just sleep face down with my head twisted to the side. Do yourself a favor, don’t buy this. It was a total waste of money and time.
