But here’s the rub: if you use it every day, it never really gets a chance to dry out and give you that full scrub experience. Plus, let’s be real, bar soap gets weirdly crumbly when you’re getting close to the end. Still, I’m a fan. They’re travel-friendly, take up zero space, and easier on the wallet, at least per-bar.
I’ve been using other Brickell products for a couple of years, and their face wash is a game-changer. Naturally, I was excited to finally try their body wash. My first attempt? No body sponge, just me and the bottle. I was disappointed—no lather! But then, I tried it with a loofah, and let me tell you, I might just be converted (at least for home use—I’m still loyal to bar soap for travel).
The cool part? You don’t need to use much at all—just a little more than you’d use for your face. That’s pretty impressive considering it covers your whole body. I’ve only been using it for a week, but based on this, I can see it lasting a solid three months, like another reviewer said. I’ll update when I finish the bottle to confirm if this holds true.
Beyond the price tag, I’m happy to report my skin feels soft after each use. Unlike the face wash, you can skip the moisturizer. I have no idea if there are any moisturizing ingredients in there, but my skin’s smoother and cleaner, and that’s all I really need. Plus, the scent is amazing. It’s not one that sticks around after your shower, but it makes the whole experience more enjoyable. Trust me, you’ll be looking forward to shower time.
And, of course, like all Brickell products, it’s made with all-natural ingredients. So yeah, the premium price makes sense if you care about that kind of thing (I do). But if it really lasts for three months, it’s on par with what I’d spend on bar soap anyway. Value? Check.
Once again, Brickell knocks it out of the park. Pretty soon, my fiancée’s going to wonder why my skincare routine is more impressive than hers. But hey, at least she’s still winning in the hair care department. Bald guy perks, right?
All in all, I highly recommend this body wash, especially if you’re already a fan of Brickell’s other stuff. After all, your face isn’t the only thing that deserves a little TLC!

Overall this is a nice product. The bodywash works well, does NOT leave a filmy feeling on the skin, and smells nice too – although the scent does not really linger beyond the shower.
I am not sure if washing implement makes a difference, but it’s worth noting I am a wash cloth kind of guy, not a sponge. Anyway, using a wash cloth, the con here is I feel I need to use too much to get a good lather. A quarter sized amount didn’t do the trick, double it was too much, so I ended up consistently using about a quarter and a half’s worth of the product. I am not sure if this is considered too much, but to me, the product loses value needing to use that much of it.
Otherwise, if you like body washes, this is a great choice when looking for cleaner ingredients, a non-residue after-wash feeling, and a smell not too overpowering.

Been looking for a good shower gel for general use and also after the gym that just had a nice refreshing feel. This Lemon Lime Body Wash is perfect. A really nice combination of Aloe and Jojoba give this a really cleansing feeling – especially after a tough gym session. I’m smashing in some heavy sets and naturally get pretty sweaty in the process, so it was important that I picked something that invigorated my skin and picked up my exhausted system with some citrus. I live in a hard water area, so no issues with foaming, sudds – all bubbles up as it should and there is good amount in the bottle. Price point lines this up with things like Molton Brown and it’s certainly nice to smell and easy to use. Looks the part too – a commanding bottle, does what it says. It goes a long way – so you don’t need to drown your face cloth or body cloth/sponge in it – which means it’ll last you a while and is good value for money too. A really nice refreshing experience and a no brainier if you’re a bit of a gym nut like me and you want some freshness post workout. Strongly recommended.
