Love this flat iron. Can not say enough great things about it. I am very picky about my hair products. Heard about this item through a friend and after using hers I knew I needed to have it. I have several Chi flat irons but I love this flat iron and it is the only one I use. The timer works like a charm and that is an important safety feature when you are always in a hurry and running late. These Brillance flat irons are the best I’ve ever used on my hair. I have slightly medium hair not too thin and about medium thick. My hair stylist was the first to introduce me to these flat irons. I have the titanium plates the mini and I just purchased the one with the ceramic plates. The mini works great for touch ups or your bangs. The ceramic is what my hair stylist used gives my hair a very good straighten and so does the titanium. I can’t really describe between the two only to say that I get a a thinner flat iron with the titanium plates and a a fuller effect with the ceramic ones. These are wonderful flat irons I give them a 👍and would definately recommend them. People say they fry their hair well I don’t turn mine all the way up I am mixed with black and white so you don’t have to turn them all the way to 450. I always get compliments on my hair, it’s salon quality and they are used by my stylist and I have had family ask me if I was wearing a wig or if I had extensions. No I don’t just gives your hair a beautiful shine I use ogx Kuki oil or the Brazilian keratin spray oils or I might switch it up and use the silk elements strength and silk coconut or olive oil hair oils. These products are very good hair products each and everyone I named I wrap my hair at night and spray one of the oils on my hair and wrap tie it down. Wonderful flat irons just love them.

Works great, but the power button is on the side and both my daughter and I accidentally press it repeatedly when flat ironing her hair. We don’t notice until it cools down some and it doesn’t work to flat iron her hair as well, then we have to turn it back on and wait til it heats up again. It isn’t a long process, but it is very inconvenient.

I bought one in Vegas in 2012. I will never buy another straightener. I just replaced the one I had from 2012 because the other one is on its last leg. I think I dropped it one too many times and the lifetime replacement is available but just bought one to save me time. It’s affordable.
