I’ve been using a similar type of product for years, and this one works just as well. Plus, this has a small amount of azelaic acid which I think is a great addition since that also can help heal spots. The thin tube easily fits into a purse or pack so you can take it on the go; you can start treating a bump the minute you feel it coming on.
The only thing I would change is that I don’t prefer applicators that directly touch my skin; they seem less hygienic to me. I just let a drop fall out on my finger to solve that problem.

This form factor is so good for treating blemishes right at the spot instead of applying salycilic acid all over the face (which can be drying). This is great for a younger person experiencing breakouts. I am giving this higher points for the form factor but it’s pretty average on the inside as you can get a lot of the gel for about half the price and this is not a lot of product.

I think this is a good spot treatment. It’s salicylic acid in a low concentration, so unlikely to be irritating. My only real complaint is that the tube has a puff applicator on the end, which seems unsanitary, but I just squeeze it out onto clean fingers instead.
