I am not pregnant but my amazing friend currently is and I wanted to buy her things for just her as well as her baby! She was very excited for this and said it is nice and soothing to use. The smell isn’t overpowering it just smells like plain lotion. Her husband finds the smell nice and subtle as well. It comes with a lot of product and is easy to apply to the skin. Not sure how it will effect stretch marks but those are natural and nothing to be ashamed of. 🩷

Burt’s Bees Mama Belly Butter has turned my wife’s belly into the softest, smoothest surface known to man. Seriously, I’ve felt clouds that were rougher. I knew pregnancy would come with a lot of changes, but I didn’t expect her skin to feel like it was blessed by the skincare gods.

Every night, she slathers on this magical butter, and it’s like watching a transformation in real-time. Her belly has gone from slightly itchy to “please, can I touch it again?” soft. I’ve started calling it the 8th Wonder of the World, and I wouldn’t be surprised if tourists started showing up to admire it. 😄

The scent is mild and pleasant, perfect for someone with a super-sensitive nose, and the cream absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. My wife loves it, and I love that she’s happy and comfortable. Plus, no new stretch marks in sight, and the old ones are fading like they know they’ve met their match.

If you’re looking for something to keep your pregnant partner’s belly happy, this is it. Just be prepared to get caught constantly rubbing her belly—you won’t be able to resist!

My kids had very dry skin and no cream help until I used this one

My wife is very mindful of what goes into many of the cosmetics and creams you see on the shelves.
She’s a big fan of Tropics but after a little convincing, she agreed to try this. MUCH cheaper than Tropics but equally as good and as pure.
    Would recommend.

Used my entire pregnancy. It’s heavy duty and helps postpartum as well. I purchased this product over and over again. Significantly reduced stretch marks from appearing and lasted all day. I could feel it wash off when I showered in the evening. 24 hour moisturizer. Also ease of application from an open container. Smooth, not sticky. No residue.

I’ve been using this body lotion on and off during pregnancy and beyond, and it’s fantastic. It keeps my skin smooth and helps with the fluctuations in weight. Perfect for use after a shower to maintain soft, healthy skin.

Like most of the reviews I read before buying, they do seem to have a huge chunk/air bubble of product missing. This picture was taken upon first opening the jar before any usage.
However, I started using it on March 5th at 4 months pregnant and apply 2 times a day, in the morning and before bed, especially right out of the shower. I am currently 5 months pregnant and haven’t gotten any stretch marks on my belly or hips. I do have a noticeable amount of stretch marks on my boobs though. But that could be because I had already grown 2 bra sizes in my first trimester before I started using this. I’m hoping it will prevent anything further & minimize what’s already there. I think it is working pretty good but can’t be 100% sure if it’s the product because I’ve only been using it for 1 month so far and my bump isn’t that big yet. Will continue using and leave an update later on throughout the pregnancy. I bought a 3 pack and am about to finish my first jar so one jar lasts about a month when applied 2x a day.
The smell is somewhat unpleasant but it is an unscented product so that’s understandable.
It does leave my hands feeling oily after I apply but once the product absorbs/drys my skin feels soft. I only use this on my boobs, belly & hips/upper thighs in hopes of preventing stretch marks. Can feel the moisture on my skin for hours after using. It almost feels like the product is sitting on top of my skin rather than absorbing tbh but I’m not sure. When I take a shower I can feel the product coming off my skin like a slimy feeling.. so this does make me skeptical if it’s actually absorbing into my skin or maybe I apply too much/don’t rub it in good enough? I’ve been trying to take a few minutes to rub it in and don’t use a lot tbh bc a little goes a long way but this always happens when I get in the shower at the end of the day..
(I’ve been using Nivea Soft for my face, arms & legs and it works wonders for leaving my skin super soft and moisturized, I love it! 10/10.)
As for the burts bees mama belly butter I chose this product because of the cocoa, Shea & vitamin E ingredients & its lack of parabens etc. It also had some great reviews but I can’t say that I’m in love yet but I will keep using to see if it actually helps later in the pregnancy once my bump gets bigger. If it does prevent stretch marks from coming then I will recommend and would be 100% worth it despite the few flaws I’ve found in it so far. For now I’d rate it a 7-8/10.
    I hope this helps!

Starting from week 8 of pregnancy, I used this body butter in my belly every morning and night. It felt odd under my clothes at first, but I got used to the feeling. It didn’t leave a stain on my clothes. The odor wasn’t strong and it was pleasant. My stomach was never itchy during pregnancy and it kept me free from stretch marks (I did pair it with Bio-Oil). I applied Bio-Oil, then the body butter.

Review by subhash wife: I have been using it for months now. It’s almost empty.. really moisturising.. remains throughout the day and prevents itchiness.. did not find any reduction in my scars so can’t comment on that.. but I loved the product for the way my stretched abdominal skin feels. Will be buying more.

Stretch Mark Prevention: The nourishing formula of the belly butter helps to improve the elasticity of the skin, reducing the likelihood of developing stretch marks. Regular application can help maintain the skin’s natural elasticity. Easy Application: The butter has a smooth and creamy texture, making it easy to spread and massage onto the skin. It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue, allowing for convenient and fuss-free application.

Pleasant Scent: The belly butter has a great scent, adding a touch of relaxation and indulgence to your skincare routine. The pleasant aroma can help uplift your mood and provide a moment of self-care during pregnancy.

Natural Ingredients: Burts Bees Mama Belly Butter is made with natural ingredients, including cocoa, shea butter, and vitamin E. This ensures that you are using a product that is gentle on the skin and free from harsh chemicals.

Belly butter is the best thing you can get for yourself. It relieves all the pregnancy itchy, stretching, dry skin but also is great for after baby arrives. Leaves skin smooth and nourished. A little absorption time is needed since it is thick but it’s worth the wait.
