I have a beard that can become coarse and dry. I have used several products over the years to try to soften it, with minimal success.

I really liked the beard conditioning oil from Caldera + Lab that I received. As soon as I opened it, I was impressed by the packaging and the small glass bottle that holds the oil. It’s a convenient size that fits nicely in my shaving bag. You simply twist the spout at the top to release or close off the oil. It also has a little plastic safety clip to prevent it from leaking out when traveling.

This is a true quality product made in the USA that uses natural, organic ingredients, and has a pleasant scent. It was easy to use. A few drops in the palm of my hand were all that I needed. Although it is an oil, it did not feel greasy once I massaged it into my beard. I could see the positive results after just a few uses.

I am thrilled with how well it worked for me and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to maintain a softer, well-groomed beard.

The scent that this beard oil gives off is mesmerizing! Leaves me feeling fresh after I take a shower. I comb and apply the oil during combing. Keeps it fresh and clean.

I honestly can’t really provide a review on the effectiveness of this oil. The reasoning is that it smells so god awful that I can’t put it on my beard. So take this review with a grain of salt I guess…but this stuff might be the worst smelling beard oil I’ve ever purchased

This is a really good product. Period. It’s got high quality ingredients and works extremely well. It’s definitely not cheap, but you get what you pay for. It smells nice as well. I have zero negatives to say about this. I would highly recommend it.

I got this because I haven’t yet found Goldilocks moisturizer/oil. I have to admit I was skeptical of the price, and after use, I’m still skeptical.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a super nice beard oil with a great scent that does a nice job moisturizing facial hair and skin, but it’s $60.

As soon as I opened the box and felt the bottle, I knew it was marketed as a product much more premium than I usually use. The bottle is nicer than any shaving product I’ve tried (save Caldera’s shaving “elixir”). I think it’s glass, so it’s heavy. The oil is dispensed uniformly and cleanly. Remember, having oil on your hands or the bottle will make it slippery, so be careful.

Like I said, the oil itself is a very nice blend. It’s fairly low viscosity, applies cleanly, and smells nice.

If you’re looking to splurge a little or don’t minding paying for premium products you’ll use every day, this stuff might be worth it. It is a very nice beard oil, but at $60, most people will probably not find it a very good value proposition.

Don’t be a beardo. Tame those curlies and smell like a stud while doing it.
I like the smell and taming properties. I’ll take their word for the antioxidant properties. Not sure the hairs coming out of my chin care. Not too greasy and lasts many hours.

I love all of the caldera products but the beard oil has a rough smell…my wife also hates the scent.

  8. Allen

I love the beard oil but the bottle leaks despite locking the pump spout in place. The oil leaks out of the screw on part of the cap where the cap meets the actual bottle. I thought I got a defective one and returned it but I had the same issue with the replacement. It makes traveling with it difficult and I have to double bag it with ziplock bags to make sure it doesn’t leak in my suitcase.
