I cannot say enough good stuff about this cream. I have long, thick hair, with medium sized curls that frizz easily and lack definition. In the past I used some combination of leave in conditioner & gel to attempt to emulate what this one, affordable product does.
It smooths frizz and hydrates my hair, but it also has some hold to it so it clumps my curls together and works as a styling product too. I just coat or finger comb my wet or damp hair, plop it if I have time and otherwise let it air dry. I normally get somewhat of a gel cast, so once it’s fully dry I tilt my head down and scrunch some oil into it from the ends up, and then gently fluff my roots with whatever is left on my hands.
The result is “mermaid hair” that doesn’t look over styled but has the definition & shine I want.

Nice product. Works well. My hair is curly and looks nice. I don’t put it on my scalp area because I have a sensitive scalp. It is really nice. I like this product. Wash my hair, brush, then put this on and away I go.

I really like this Cantù hair product, it works perfectly for my curly hair. It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. It’s not sticky or oily. The only downside is that the fragrance is so strong! It doesn’t smell bad, it’s a fruity smell, but is just too strong. I would definitely give it a five stars if it wouldn’t be for the strong overwhelming fragrance. I wish they would make one that would be fragrance free or tone down the strength of the fruity aroma.

Found my holy grail. This left my very thick 3b hair in ringlets and elongated them somewhat so they are not so tight, but the aren’t loose either, they are perfect. Personally I love the scent, to me it smells like coconut. This is a very thick product so I applied it immediately after shampooing while my hair was soaking wet and then wrapped in a towel before diffusing. 2nd day hair is perfect as well. Run and get this. Ive already ordered some other products from Cantu and waiting for them to be delivered, can’t wait to try the rest of the line! I’m love ❤️

Folks in the reviews said it was strongly scented, it’s strong in the bottle but dissipates pretty quick. That said it’s a nice coconut scent, so not a biggie either way but it shouldn’t dissuade buying it. On how it works it was used on dried hair washed yesterday, and my curls are smooth and bouncy. Glad I bought it! Big bottle for a cheap price.

This is the first time I’ve tried this product, I noticed so many ladies make mention of it on a Facebook page for curly hair tips – I gave it a try, and am thrilled with it. It holds my curls nicely, is not crunchy, and provides a nice shine. Love Cantù!

For reference – I have thick, very coarse hair between wavy and curly, typical 2c hair type. Very resistant, plus henna so very very non-porous.
This product I used to refresh – my hair was stretched out and frizzy but overall shape and volume OK. I wet my hands and squirted a little bit in, maybe dime size? Raked and smoothed it in, repeated 3 times to cover all the hair, adding water as needed by wet hands. Scrunched ever so gently once all hair was damp and smoothed out. Could see the curls bouncing back up as this was going on. Diffused, mostly hovering around the hair not touching it. Then air dry without touching, then praying hands to smooth out the crunch.
The product really helps the water to actually dampen the hair (mine is low porosity and can resist water when it’s dry), and provides moisture and definition. The curls bounced back, are heavy but not in a bad way, very defined and strong and smooth feeling. Time will tell if it holds the day, but a radically successful refresh looks-wise. Picture is with it just barely damp, almost entirely dry. I regret no before image but it sure didn’t look like this!
I do not know if I will repurchase, though, because the scent is SO LOUD I cannot wear perfume for fear of it clashing, and it’s so scented so close to my nose. I am not by any stretch of the imagination sensitive to fragrances, this is just an intensely scented product. Nice citrus orange smell, but it’s like I’ve dipped my head in floor cleaner.
