I’ve been using Carmex for years and now I decided to buy the variety pack because my family keeps asking for them so I like to keep a good supply for when they need more.
Carmex is very soothing on your lips and keeps them nice and moisturizer. I even use Carmex on small skin irritations and works great.

I disliked that the tube was the same color as the product ( industrial designer did poor packaging job ) I first opened it and rolled out some but not enough ( can’t see clear on clear) so I rolled out more, used it, then – re-capping it I realized I had rolled it too far out and couldn’t tell. I put the cap on and it squirted out the edges. I used what was in the store cap and tidied it up. The round container is fine, unless you have long fingernails- which makes it difficult. Once you’ve used it down, your finger alone won’t work and it gets under my nails. The tube is great, carry it in my bag. A great convenience for me because this one order will go a long way with stocking stuffers at Christmas. If you have short nails and aren’t a goofball like me, they taste good and not too medicinal or sweet. Feels like “medication” and not lip gloss. I’m not sure why people are needing it for medication. It says on the jar “external analgesic and lip protection” which indicates an active ingredient but the individual items don’t list the contents. The website however is on the jar type. The roll up has SPF 15 but the jar type doesn’t. It’s use is not consistent and it’s my opinion they need to keep all packaging the same and listing ingredients. Which makes me wonder what’s in it. Urban legends have them all over the place. There is menthol and camphor which many people who are extra sensitive are allergic to. New York magazine has a cute story all about the ingredients and myth it’s ingredients are addictive. Basically a good brand name but my lips feel more “sticky” using the roll up and jar than moisturized

I really liked the product ingredients and the variety package. This is an amazing product for your chapped, dried and damaged lips. Heals on contact and can be stored in your pocket, purse or bag. Easy to use and greatly discounted. I love that there was a three pack deal at a great price. I’m a fan of this brand of lip balm, it’s great for cold, dry climates. The variety pack is handy and means that I can have one for travel, work, etc. and not have to worry about running out. A good value.
