The only reason I disliked it is its texture which didn’t absorb into skin well, thus with perspiration, burnt my eyes!

Facial sunscreen. The good: it’s a lovely formulation. You must shake it enough, otherwise is watery. Once shaken is still liquid but thicker. The color is gorgeous, had zero white cast and it gave a glowy look. I don’t wear makeup, this looked natural and I loved it.
The bad: 1) it feels like I got a bit of a sunburn. Either it didn’t protect enough, OR I may have reacted to the Niacinamide? I’ve never used before and face is stinging today like a slight sunburn, which seems to be typical reaction to that ingredient, per what I’ve read about it. Or another ingredient?
    2) Face started breaking out after just one use. Ingredients list shows sunflower oil as presumably a humectant, halfway down list. As a teenager, had oily and sensitive skin, hard combination. Broke out all the time because the “sensitive” skin products are all for ppl with dry sensitive skin, as if that’s the only skin type that is sensitive???- and the “oily” skin products are all harsh for acne prone ppl with very oily skin that isn’t sensitive.
Soooo now skin is calmer, is combination, but still cannot use oil on face. Turns T Zone into an oil slick and break out right away.
With this product, I did love it, felt good, but by end of day, had turned T zone into teenage level oily skin, and started to break out. I hate matte products, I like a glow, but guess I still need oil free products. They state it is silicone free, but why not use hyaluronic acid as the humectant? It’s not an expensive ingredient. Sad but probably have to return. Think this product is good one for those who can tolerate oil on face, and those who do not react to Niacinomide.
Is quite difficult to find an oil free mineral sunblock that is this pretty.

My Caudalie Vinosun Daily Mineral Sunscreen arrived in a partially sealed box (top flap sealed but not bottom). The box shows a list of ingredients as well as product information and instructions for use. The expiration date of my product is 04/2026, and it is made in the USA using local and imported ingredients. The bottle itself is rectangular opaque plastic and shows directions for use as well as the expiration date.

This is the most amazing sunscreen I have ever tried, and I have tried many. First, the consistency is that of water. Even the more expensive thinner sunscreens have a more lotion-like feel than this one. With a mineral sunscreen, the untinted ones will leave a white cast, and the tinted ones will leave a tint that may or may not match your skin. The more expensive ones will have tiny beads inside the bottles in order to thoroughly mix the contents when shaken. This bottle has no beads due to its being the consistency of water. A thorough shaking, however, is needed to prepare the contents for application. The product is tinted, but, because of its consistency, the tint blends into any color skin without showing any signs of it. I have never experienced this with a sunscreen that does not contain nanoparticles, and this one does not contain nanoparticles. Therefore, it will have a “feel” to it after application. That is how I know it contains microparticles (larger than nanoparticles which allow absorption) rather than nanoparticles. Unlike sunscreens with microparticles, it will not, in my opinion, stain clothing. I rubbed a tissue on my face to test for this rather than any clothing of mine just in case. I found no residue on the tissue. A disadvantage of mineral sunscreens with microparticles is that they do stain. The product information states that this sunscreen is not water resistant.

I am amazed by this product in that it is the only mineral sunscreen I have tried that does not make me look like a ghost or leave a line where the tint begins and ends on my face. I would not use either of those on my body because of permanent stains to clothing. The consistency of this product allows for easy application, and nobody knows I am wearing a mineral sunscreen except me. If desired, makeup can easily be applied on top of it. This sunscreen provides maximum protection with its UVA/UVB SPF rating of 50, and zinc oxide 21% as its active ingredient. I see no downside to this.

I really, really wanted to like this since I love the Caudalie Vinoperfect serum, and I’ve heard great things about their sunscreen. However, it left my skin feeling super dry and sticky after I put it on, almost as if i had rubbed a glue stick all over my face. I am picky about sunscreen, so maybe it is a me thing, but if u usually don’t like the feeling of having sunscreen on your face i would not recommend this 🙁

I was shocked to find this was a watery liquid, as I shot it over my sink thinking I was going to squirt some on the back of my hand. I did shake it up a bunch, and it’s still a very watery consistency, not a gel. It’s giving a bronzing drops feeling, rather than sunscreen. It is tinted and does have a bronzing effect on my pale skin. It did not irritate my skin in any way, but I could tell I had applied it by a slightly whitish cast. I waited a few minutes and rubbed it into my skin again and I don’t notice that as much. The only thing I don’t love is that when I was hot outside, this must drip and it burned and irritated my eyes.

Works well. Doesn’t feel greasy. Highly recommend.

Great sun protection under makeup, not greasy, no white residue. Melts in to skin.
