I really like that this product doesn’t irritate my (super sensitive) skin, and that it isn’t at all greasy. It initially goes on a bit thick/pasty and white-ish, which at first put me off. However, it pretty quickly disappears into the skin and feels nice and light. The AI review says some customers complain about a white residue remaining on their skin. That has not been my experience. (I’m fair skinned, and not sure whether or not that’s a factor.) The product feels a bit “different” going on but, for me, the drier texture prevents the urge to skimp on sun protection. I still sometimes use the spf 30 Neuturogena day cream (which I also like). But, I think the thicker initial texture of this one makes it easier to cover every part of my face evenly and thoroughly. I feel this product provides protection more akin to a suntan lotion one would apply at the beach, but unlike that, works well under make up. It’s a combination of mineral and chemical sun protection. Mineral sun protection is less irritating to skin, but tends to be thicker, whiter, etc. I feel this product is a good compromise.

I live in Florida, so sunscreen is a must. This product has retinol *and* sunscreen, so it’s perfect for my needs. I’ve read reviews where people complain about pilling if they put another sunscreen on top, but I haven’t had that issue with this product (I have had that problem with other spf serums). I put this on after using the CeraVe Vitamin C serum, let it sit for a few minutes while I do other things, and then I’m ready to put on my makeup. My face feels soft and hydrated all day long. I’m almost done with my first bottle and just bought a second so I don’t have to go without it. I used to use more expensive products with fancy ingredients, but this is better so why spend the extra money?

I have used other, more expensive products with SPF and all of their anti-aging claims. I use Cerave daily moisturizing lotion for my body, but I wanted to try something for my face that was dermatologist recommended and more “simple.” This was my first purchase from Cerave for a day moisturizer (I also bought the night cream – which I love). It is thick, yet absorbs quickly, but I am left with a dry/tight feeling on my face most of the time. My fix is using using a tiny bit of of the Cerave body lotion (also okay for the face) to bump up the moisture after applying this product and that works for me. Let’s face it, (pun intended), there is no miracle fix in a bottle or jar for aging, but I feel that this is a good product from a trusted brand that will likely produce the same results as its more pricey competitors.

I live CereVe produces and especially like the skin renewing range. Was excited to see retinol included in a day moisturiser with SPF however , I have to agree with other reviewers. Has a thick consistency which feels zinc like, doesn’t really sink into the skin and leaves a white cast. Skin doesn’t feel hydrated rather dry and a bit chalky too touch.
I think this product is needed and should compliment the other products in the range it just needs to be reformulated.

I love this sunscreen face cream. It feels a little thick the moment you put it on, but it lightens up almost immediately as you rub it around. Protecting my face from excessive sun exposure here in Texas is super important to me and this product makes me feel safe all while not feeling like I’m adding YET ANOTHER product to my skin. I highly recommend!

The cream is good, mosturizes your skin and it has no perfumes or harming substances.
It is a very thick cream thou, and its not easy to spread sometimes.
If you wanna level diferent creams ( serum, sunscreen etc) this cream is so thick that you wont be able to level any other cream, without your face becoming full of… small balls of cream ( when your creams mix with each other and create some kind of cream peel off instead of absorving into your skin).
So if you wanna mix it, not the cream. Its too thick. If you wanna use just that then its good. But aply some slight make up upon it because it leaves a white tint

, the application of makeup is not so nice because is dry finish. But once applied the makeup is looking good.

This product works decently. It’s a bit thick, but it does mostly spread on the face with enough rubbing. The sunblock aspect seems to work well. However, it is very hard to rub in if you have any amount of facial hair, which I suspect is due to the zinc oxide. I keep my facial hair relatively relatively short, and the serum often left my mustache area with a white sheen that I have to rub very vigorously to diminish. It’s good enough that I’ll use it up, but I won’t purchase it again because of the white sheen.

I bought this cream recently after researching & reading up a lot on what exact ingredients are important in a cream for 60+ skin. I kinda expected a list of very expensive products but was pleasantly surprised to find CeraVe came out tops in my requirements. It’s a lovely product rich, absorbs quickly on the skin, non-greasy, pump dispenser and very affordable. I intend following it up with the night cream & Serum. I have only been using this product for a short time but honestly feel it’s already working which is amazing! I also use the CeraVe Foam Cleanser which is brilliant for removing make-up. I would definitely recommend using this product, it’s working for me.

I have been using this product everyday for the past 3 years! I usually get it from Ulta, but I recently moved and don’t have an Ulta or other makeup store near me. This doesn’t have a sunscreen-y smell which I love! It makes my skin feel very soft. Now, I wouldn’t use this as your only sunscreen if you are going to be in direct sunlight for a long period of time. If I’m going to the beach or an air show, I usually put this on and then a layer of a higher SPF sunscreen on my face. But for my average day usage, this is my favorite daytime moisturizer. My boyfriend will even ask to use it sometimes haha
