I’ve been using this product for a long time. Recently I switched to a different cleanser of the same brand due to running out, and I could see the effects of what the SA cleanser did for me in less than a week! My skin is currently so riddled with acne and black heads. The only thing that I switched was using a new cleanser, so I threw that new bottle out and reordered this! I’ve always bought it in stores but I needed to get this pronto!
I love the design, it fits in well anywhere since it’s a rectangular bottle, and it has a pump to dispense. It comes out like almost like shampoo, and as you’re washing it doesn’t really foam, it just gets sudsy.
The value size bottle lasts forever even with daily use between my Fiancé and I, using one pump, so it is most definitely a budget friendly cleanser. The bottle says non-drying, but it does a little bit with daily use so I always pair it with a moisturizer since I don’t have oily skin. It’s Salicylic Acid the helps to exfoliate the skin to remove buildup of oil and dirt to make your skin soft and clear. Plus it’s made in USA!!

As soon as the weather got warmer my face started breaking out like crazy. More than usual. As soon as I started using this cleanser in combination with a sunscreen moisturizer (cetaphil oil control), cerave retinol serum, I saw results within days. Mind you I haven’t used a cleanser or any products on a regular basis for years, so it was probably just newbie gains. But so far so good. I also use cerave acne foaming cleanser behind my ears where I get painful cystic acne and that appears to be working too. I just picked up cerave PM moisturizer and am adding that to my routine. This SA cleanser is good for my mild acne on my face. If you have a more sever case I would use the cerave acne foaming cleanser 4% benzoyl peroxide. But make sure to moisturize cuz it will dry you out.

I bought this because I wanted to have clearer skin on my nose. I’m somebody that has a lot of obvious pores on their nose and when I don’t manage it then it can get pretty obvious.
This product leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth but I recommend you stick to using it for a few weeks to really notice the difference. I’ve been using it every night and I could tell that my skin has gotten clearer. My recommendation when you use it is to try and get it somewhat foamy by rubbing it in circles on a wet face. Spend time making it into your pores especially in places where you want to target. Also warm water helps because it opens up your pores a bit. Another thing Id recommend is leaving it on your face for a bit, maybe a minute or so but not any longer because it can turn your face red if left too long (it’s expected as it’s an acid). Make sure to rinse well!
Anyway, stay consistent with it and you’ll see results. Don’t give up!

I love this cleanser during the 2020 lockdown a lot of us lady started getting into skin care because we had so much time to start truly investing in our selves. this cleanser leaves, my skin soft, does not cause dryness, does foam!! And the pump works as it should. this cleanser is a water based cleanser so no oil if you deal with acne!! The texture is perfect and overall my favorite product when washing my face!!

I use this every morning, and while I do use other products as well I can say I’ve not had a breakout since I switched from another CeraVe cleanser in the mornings (I still use a different one at night).
I have combination skin and have struggled with breakouts as an adult, but now I don’t — and my skin looks much better! I actually stopped wearing foundation altogether because I no longer have any trouble spots to cover up!
Again, I don’t use this product in isolation — but I am very happy with my skin, and with the product itself. It feels like it is removing excess oil, but it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry at all — nor does it cause me any rash or discomfort. Highly recommend!
