It is very creamy and i believe that it is gentle on your skin but it can also be drying so ensure you moisturize well

Like many others have noticed and shared – why the heck is this so impossible to get out of the “squeeze” tube?! Maybe a pump or far might have been better. I honestly thought I had gotten a fake product but went back and checked and I ordered directly from the Cetaphil shop on Amazon so it was authentic. I have to lay the tube on the counter and lean on it with my palm (and most of my weight) to get anything out.
The texture of the product doesn’t emulsify easily when rubbed between hands before application. It stays together more like a dense jelly slime. I also tend to find clumps/blobs of it on my counter and self once I try to start rubbing it on my face because it doesn’t really emulsify well.
As a second step in a double cleanse it is nice. But there are plenty of nice face cleansers that are easier to access/get out of the container and then apply.
Overall, it does a decent job but there are so many other products and options in todays beauty/personal hygiene space that it makes this one easily replaceable. Updated packaging for ease of use might be the game changer for this product Cetaphil!

Doesn’t have any weird smells…however I find that my face gets extra oily in the afternoon after using this. Maybe it’s just not compatible with my skin, I don’t know. Initially, it makes my skin feel dry and smooth, but then I pay for it later.

I get very mild breakouts after sweating from workouts. I started using this after exercising and no more breakouts. I like that it’s a very thick formula, I actually just use it in the shower and it’s perfect.
