I find the cream needs a little effort to apply if you have dry skin because you may have to drag (not a lot) to even out the product on your face. I find that the application is smoother when you layer your face with moisturiser first. I know some do not like the white cast but I love it. I like the cast so that I know which are the areas that I may have missed out.

This mineral sunscreen is just as thick as others. I was hoping for something thin and effective. As others mentioned, it leaves you looking whiter and paler than other products. This stuff cakes up very quickly, so if you don’t spread it evenly immediately, you are left with a splotchy look and it’s hard to adjust.
Most importantly, it did not perform as well as my previous SPF 50. My ears and face were feeling singed after a day out.
I’m going back to the Banana Boat products.

goes on smooth and does the job of an spf 50 sunscreen. i appreciate that it’s fragrance free but it does leave a slight white cast when i apply to my arms which have a bit of a tan. it’s not super noticiable so i don’t really mind.

The description of this sunscreen is so misleading. This is not sheer and really should not be used on the face. It doesn’t blend in well and looks like a thick paste. It also stays on the surface of the skin and pills really bad. Not for face or for under makeup. I’m not sure I would even use it on the body. Cetaphil needs to go back to the drawing board and take a cosmetic chemistry course on sunscreens from Korea. This is literally junk.

I use Cetaphil products and have for many years. They are excellent and fair priced in today’s market.
I usually use Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer 50+. I was curious about this other sun protecting cream. More for the money and advertises itself as “sheer”. What a surprise! Thick and white as snow. It must be either rubbed in or let it sit for a long time to sink into your skin. Not good under liquid makeup. So I now know and won’t be buying it again for my purpose. Would be fine I guess if you don’t want to put makeup over it. Would be good for body exposure to sun.
