Due to the price of nearly 60 dollars, I assumed it was real wood. I didn’t have time to read the “fine print” it’s hard plastic, not wood. I really wanted this to be very weighty but it’s super light weight. If you are ok with it not being wood, then it’s beautiful. It is 22 inches circumference, which also just so happens to be my exact head size.

Should be real wood for what you’re paying! This is actually plastic made to look like wood- so it’s fairly lightweight and not as stable as a real wood block head would be. It does looks nice and is an upgrade on the cheap styrofoam head I was using previously, but for the price I expected much better quality.
