    I ordered this product after my Original Chi straightener died after 14 wonderful years- Impressive! I thought this would be great and I liked the idea of using the curling feature from time to time. I can normally curl my hair with my basic straightener, but only to a certain extent. I was excited to try the Chi Air Setter 2 in 1. First, I wanted to see what temperature to use. There was no information in the instruction book or on the box to tell you what temperature to use with what type of hair. I ended up looking online at a different product to get guidance. Next, I found that the clip that holds the iron closed didn’t the provide the pressure I needed for my fine hair. Without being able to squeeze it a little bit, my hair didn’t get completely straight. Then, when running my hair through the iron, it got caught between the plate and the plastic tip. It ended up ripping some of my hair out! I gave this Chi a couple of chances, then tried the curling feature with the air setting. To be honest, it wasn’t anything that I couldn’t have accomplished with the original straightener. I wish this would’ve worked out. It’s a great idea, but just not quite what I was hoping for. I’ll just end up returning this for a direct replacement to my original Chi straightener.
