My hair stylist recommended this product to me because my hair tends to be pretty dry. I ordered some, and was really pleased from the first time used — happy to pass along the recommendation. It is kind of oily, so start with a small dab (no bigger than the size of a nickle squirted in the palm of your hand). Add more if you think you need it, but honestly that much is all I ever need. Used daily, it has made my hair so much softer. No more dryness.
