I have very long hair. This states it heats to 500 degrees. There is no heat control, just on and off. I have a regular Chi ( love them, used for years and years) that only heats to 400 degrees and I can hardly touch my hair it is so hot. This travel size does not feel as hot. The paddles are very small and you have to go over your strands several times. It straightened well enough but was not perfect like my standard Chi. I still had wavy areas where I just could not get it to work. I think a waste of money but I will keep it in my travel trailer to take on the road.

This straightener is the perfect straightener for quick touch ups and cute curls. The heat level is on par, however there is not a heat adjustment switch or auto shut off. This is a quality product with a substantial cord length. All in all, this product works well and is a good value for your money.

Great quality and sooo practical! As someone who travels a lot, it is hard to bring hair tools that don’t take up a lot of space. Buying this was life changing! I even use it when I don’t travel. It works just as well as a bigger flat iron and is easier to use because it is so light and compact. Overall I definitely recommend
