Clarins usually hits it out of the park. So when I saw this on sale I jumped on it. Unfortunately the formula is a little too thick and didn’t absorb well. Also also left me with an oily feeling. If your skin is extremely dry this could be a good fit for you.
For me, I could only stomach it for a couple of hours before I had to wash my face. I even got a pimple. I can’t say for sure that product gave me the zit but that was the only change in my routine

I’ve used a number of Clarins products and I’ve never met one I didn’t like. This Hydra-Essentiel cream is over the top, though. I was concerned it would be too heavy and more moisture than I needed at this time of year. Wrong! In fact, the hyaluronic acid in this cream works all day or night to attract moisture to your skin and help you retain it. And there is simply more moisture in the air to be had in Spring/Summer. My skin actually does feel and look plumper as well as hydrated. Hydra-Essentiel is entirely appropriate for the neck too, In my opinion. It contains hyaluronic acid, shea butter, cocoa seed butter and leaf extracts. Shea gives a product nice body and texture. There is a pleasant scent of botanicals as well as rose perhaps. I expect fragrance from Clarins products as they are developed in Paris. So happy to add this super hydrator to my Clarins collection!

This is a cream that works better on my skin during the summer months. I use
Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Cooling Gel during the winter months. Both have Hyaluronic Acid which helps to keep my skin hydrated. However, this cream minimizes the fine lines by making my skin plumper looking.
HOW I USE:
1 – Cleanse my face by washing & using toner as I do every morning & night.
2 – Apply my night serums
3 – I apply a nickel size to my face and neck. I start at the middle of my face and apply going out and up. I don’t pull on my skin but apply in a firm, yet gentle sweeping motion. On my neck, I start at my jaw and go down.
Clarins NEW Hydra-Essentiel Rich Cream goes well with the other products I use for my facial regimen.

I always check for expiration dates before using, ESPECIALLY with health & beauty products. The expiration date tells me whether a product has been sitting somewhere on a shelf or an idea of when manufactured for distribution. This product does NOT have an expiration date, likely because it is not required.

It is important to me how manufacturers seal & ship their products. This item was PROPERLY SEALED, as you can see from the pictures. To me, this means the manufacturer cares about its products.✔️
It is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that gives exceptional results, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.

This is a good product. However, I ordered the 1.7 oz. net wt. It clearly shows that amount on the jar when I ordered it. What I received was the 1.6 oz net wt.
This is false advertising.

I love this moisturizer for my face.. I use the double serum by Clarins and then let it dry and follow up with this moisturizer.. it’s smooth and hydrating and the smell is amazing.. it helps hydrate my skin and is a must for anyone who needs hydration on their skin…definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic moisturizer …

I am loving Clarins NEW Hydra-Essentiel Rich Cream|Intensely Hydrating Moisturizer! This is a very luxurious and thick cream that makes my facial skin feel like a million dollars! It does sink in quickly and plumps my skin. I can have sensitive skin and I’ve had no problems with Clarins.
After using Clarins for about 10 days, my facial skin feels and looks great. The area where I am seeing the most difference though is my neck and chest. Wow! My skin just soaks it up and it has been a long time since my 66-year-old neck has looked and felt this good. I recommend this product, and I plan on trying more of their skincare products.

I love clarins! I’ve tried a lot of their products, and none has disappointed me so far. Regarding this (really happy to get it though vine!), it is kinda off-white cream, on the thick side, pretty moisturizing and easy to absorb. I have sensitive skin and a lot of the skin products feel stinging on me. But never had this feeling on Clarins. Great product!
