I really like the consistency of this cream, it’s not too thick or thin and spreads nicely over my skin. I use it on my face and down my neck/chest. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or oily but gives it a nice smooth feel. You’re using too much if you’re having issues here. Dab a little on your fingers then quickly spread it over a part of your face. Then repeat until your face (and neck/chest if you’re applying it there too) have been covered.
My only complaint is the scent, it gives off flower petal vibes…like a rose maybe? With that being said, the scent does go away fairly quickly, so I don’t think it’s worth skipping because of that.
I’ve only used it a handful of days so far so I have yet to see a difference my skin, but I am enjoying how smooth it makes it feel so I will continue to use it and see how I feel after the jar is empty.

I have been using the Clarins Multi-Active Day Moisturizer for a couple weeks and it is my new favorite moisturizer. I love that it has niacinamide as well because I have aging skin and my dermatologist suggested I use hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to help with fine lines and large pores. This moisturizer is really thick and luxurious and hydrates my skin. It absorbs well and does not pill with my makeup or primer. It is a little pricey but it is a premium brand. I definitely recommend.

First impressions this is a beautiful day cream. It smells heavenly.. I wouldn’t mind a matching perfume. It is a thick cream but goes on very light. It leaves no sheen or shine on my skin and I can put makeup on immediately after. I experienced no pilling or other adverse effects. Too early to see any long term results but this is definitely worth keeping in my skin care routine.

This is my first time trying a Clarins product, although I’d always heard good things. If this moisturizer is any indication of the rest of their line, it seems the accolades are well deserved. I don’t like using moisturizer. To me, it’s just one more thing on my face. However, as a middle aged woman using a variety of retinols and hyaluronic acid serums, I’m fighting drying. FIrst, this smells great. So many moisturizers are non scented and I hate that. This has a very flight floral scent. It absorbs well once you realize a little goes a long way. My first time using, I applied entirely too much product and felt a bit greasy. Now I use the smallest amount and it absorbs well and leaves my skin soft instead of slimy. This is my absolute favorite moisturizer, and coming from someone who would rather not be bothered, I think that says a lot.
