I was a big fan of the original product that came in a large tube sadly it was discontinued I reached out to the clean and clear team and they suggested me to use this as a substitute it works exactly the same however I believe it is not as strong as the old one was. Either way I am so glad this product is back on the market it has helped clear my skin for the last 5 years and I use it regularly. My biggest complaint would be the pricing for this new packaging as it was cheaper to get the larger tube and now I am getting less contents. My major warning with this product is that IT WILL BLEACH YOUR CLOTHING. Use an old towel you do not care about destroying because this will bleach your towels to different shades other than that I would still recommend the product

This is a solid product and it absolutely will destroy bacteria and kill all of your acne I promise it will work, the side effect is that it will absolutely turn everything Orange and it will bleach absolutely anything you touch it with, now I’m buying orange clothing and sheets instead that’s how effective it is it convinces me to buy orange items 😄

I’ve been searching for this Persa-gel everywhere! For some reason, every pharmacy and store I visit- no longer carries this product- so I am SO ecstatic to FINALLY have it in my possession again.
I’ve been using this product since my teens- I’m 42 years old now- and it is the holy grail to clear skin. As soon as I see what seems to be a pimple appearing, I immediately apply this in the morning on a clean, fresh face. I use toner, apply Persagel, and follow up with sunscreen. I use it all over my face at this point, to prevent any new outbreaks. It make take a few days, but you WILL see improvement. Be consistent. And have patience with your skin. And yourself!

10% benzoyl peroxide is the only thing that works for me. This stuff was good. Isn’t greasy or messy like some other brands

I’ve been using it on and off to prevent and control breakouts for years. I thought I was done with acne but I guess as one ages, hormones change again and it can come back. Yay! I feel like a teenager again!
This gel is smooth and apples well. No scent accept for the faint bleachy scent of benzoyl peroxide (BP). 10% benzoyl peroxide is pretty strong. If you use 10% BP facewash and think this will be the same. It’s not. The facewash doesn’t stay on your skin. This does. It can be very drying and irritating at first.
For the uninitiated, work your way up. Either by putting on top of your moisturizer to start or only on small patches. Test it’s strength before applying it all over. Or try a lower concentration like 2-3%. Neutrogena makes a great one.
NOTE: Most BP will bleach clothes, sheets, towels fabrics. I recommended using dedicated linens while you’re using BP. For instance, I use this on my face and body. I have only white sheets on my bed. I wear a big white t-shirt to bed. I only use white or old towels I don’t mind ruining.
