I have never had this prescribed by my derm but wanted a moisturizer in this line because this line is what I do get prescribed. It isn’t for super dry skin. I really only need it in winter as I normally have oily skin. I would classify it as a light moisturizer.

I used to use Kinerase, and I was crushed when it vanished from the market. I’ve been nursing along the tube I bought in 2013, and now it’s gone. Now, I don’t use this daily as a face cream; I use it to heal the many, many small injuries I end up with on my hands and arms (used to be a lot from my cat’s claws). I scar easily and don’t heal quickly, and the Kinerase was like a miracle for me, clearing up wound rapidly. I have that joy of older people, the thin skin that bruises easily and tears if you just look at it wrong. As soon as my Obagi cream got here yesterday (I had to have someone bring it from the US to me in South America), I put some on the ridge of scar on my arm from ramming it into the strike plate on the door. This morning it is noticeably smoother and fainter, in less than 24 hours. Now I’ve got to try this on the “pandemic lines” around my mouth to see if it does as well with those. But it’s working great for the purpose I bought it for.

I have used the Obagi nuderm system for 15 years, I decided to try the blue brilliance peel and the Kinetin+ Hydrating cream is an excellent moisturizer for the after peel care!
Goes on very smooth, none oily, excellent hydration!
