I received a small tube of this as a sample. It’s creamy, but not greasy! I went to replace my moisturizer that I have been using for 15 years. ( Lancome ) But the price for the large jar was $175. !! Outrageous! This Clinique moisturizer is just as creamy and much cheaper. I would highly recommend!

This is such a great moisturizer. I feel like I can just use this and skip my spf. It feels wonderful on my skin, and so moisturizing. Doesn’t feel like I have any spf on, which I love. It is scented rather heavily, so heads up on that. It doesn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts either.

I tried and really liked the Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator so decided to try the version with SPF. I searched the reviews for what it smelled like and they all said “no scent.” While it might be true there is no perfumey scent, it DOES smell like sunscreen, which is worse. It also feels like sunscreen and I don’t feel any moisturization beyond what any sunscreen lotion would do. I’m very disappointed that I spent money on this item that will now go to waste. If this were billed as a sunscreen it would be less offensive than most, but I buy these types of products as a moisturizer first and a sunscreen second. I wear them every day and don’t want to feel like I’m wearing sunscreen. If I’m going to be in the sun all day I’m going to use a much higher SPF, water-resistant sunscreen, so this doesn’t even make a (somewhat expensive) replacement for “real” sunscreen. Wish I could return it but of course, you don’t realize you don’t like it until you’ve opened it.

I’ve used moisture surge for years and love it for keeping my face from being too dry, but now I love it more because they added an SPF.

The Clinique Moisture Surge Broad Spectrum SPF 28 Sheer Hydrator Face Moisturizer is more of a creamy texture than the other moisture surge face moisturizer is a silky consistence. It does work if you want a two in one moisture surge for your face. However, I will probably get both the sunscreen and just the moisture surge 100 hours for days not outside.

My mom wanted this to try since she has been using a different clinique moisturizer but wanted to switch things up. She loves this stuff, feels like it moisturizes very well and I think it’s a pretty good size jar compared to other brands. She says this will probably last her 2 months or more. Clinique is always a win!
