Let’s all agree, the nozzle is not helpful. I actually swapped it out for another spray bottle’s top. That being said, the product is good.
I applied liberally- I used 1/3 of the bottle, and then styled as usual (denman brush with finger twirls as needed). The weird thing was that it felt like I had hair spray on my hair- it felt tacky and was hard to slide the curls around my fingers- but the curls held. While drying, I noticed my hair dried faster than usual, which was good and my curls were left soft- not crunchy! I can tell where I missed spots bc they frizzed while drying, but a targeted refresh will fix that.
In the end I had good hold, good definition, and shine.
Overall I say it’s a good product but a bad bottle design- it’s just not functional for me.

I have never tried the “original” spray, just this one for curls. So I do not have that one for comparison. I only gave this 3 stars- I actually do like it a lot but do to the couple of drawbacks I have with it, I doubt I would by it again. I rarely, if ever, have had a curl enhancer that did not provide any sort of hold that actually kept definition in my hair. So I was a bit doubtful this would but I gave it a try anyway. Well, it does not keep it’s definition AT ALL unless I have a good hold of some sort – gel, mousse, hair spray, etc. The first time I tried it, I wanted to test it without any hold. Things were going good and my curls actually looked super pretty. I took my dog for a walk and came back to super frizz and hardly any curl definition. I am not even exaggerating. It wasn’t windy outside but there was a good amount of humidity, so I am sure that was the main reason – it’s humid here more than not. Next time I tried the same but using a diffuser/dryer. Same thing happened. I have tried using it with a dryer and a round brush for large, smooth curls and that does look really nice but I don’t want to always style my hair like that.
Since those tries, I make sure to always use a really good hold. This spray does still make a difference in the appearance and curl definition, even though I add other product. In fact a really pretty shape and a lot of shine. I love the way it looks but I also find that I have to use a ton of it (I have very thick hair). So I started saving it only for times when I want my hair to look extra nice – like going out and such – since I cant afford to go through this quickly and buy it again so often. I may eventually get more if I want to have it for a special occasion or something but for the most part I will just use my regular curl product.
Though, I am now intrigued to try the original spray for the times that I straighten my hair – so I plan to get that soon!

I’m new to experiencing my curly/wavy hair and I’ve been trying a bunch of different products lately, and all of the things that are recommended always make my hair look and feel wet even though it’s dry. And the curls/waves weren’t bouncy like they appear in this photo. This product is the only one I have found that makes my hair retain its wave/curls as well as looking voluminous and bouncy and dry! And it’s so much simpler to spray this on and let it air dry instead of the multi-step process that I need with other products like a curl cream, then mousse and a gel, then mist the next day… you know the drill! I literally cannot recommend this product enough if you don’t have time to fuss with your hair but still wanted to stay beautiful and curly and most importantly (for me) TOUCHABLE AND BOUNCY!

I tried this as directed, and had to use so much of the bottle I decided it wasn’t worth if. I now use this as a finishing/setting spray after I’ve styled with other products. It creates weightless hold and the frizz stays away in the humidity! I’m on the second bottle, so it’s definitely become part of my daily routine.

I really liked the shampoo and conditioner, it has a good lather and a nice scent. I am really fussy about my hair products and wanted to find a new product to act as an alternative to my regular routine, so that I can switch between the two and avoid hair fatigue. I am not sure about the moisture boosting spay, you have to keep pumping the spray to get enough product in your hair, it might be better for touch ups as opposed to a first day styling product.
Update to my earlier comment on the spray. It does a fantastic job to refresh second day curls! My hair perked right up.
This is me –
After blow drying & straightening my very thick hair all my life to control the bulk, I discovered (at age 60) when I air dried it, that I have very curly hair. I wanted to embrace it & tried the curl creams, mousse, gels and curl activator sprays – to make the most of it, but it looked wild, unruly & frizzy. Then, I found WOW Dream Coat . Initially, I ordered the small bottle – to try it. After my first use, I was hooked & immediately ordered the larger size. It gave definition, is soft, controlled the frizz, and so much easier to use than all the other products. It doesn’t weigh down my hair, feel crunchy or stiff. I’m sold!! Love it!

Wow! This product creates beautiful curls when air dried. Gives Lots of volume and is not sticky. It functions well on thin hair to increase manageability I recommend this product
