I usually use a frizz buster, and decided to try this because I saw it advertised by Hoda. I love this product. With Frizz busters, your hands get covered with thick oily material, but this WOW is a spray on and even massaging it in to hair, it is not oily. I put it on with slightly damp hair, blow it dry, then add a little more before using my curling iron. I hair looks smooth and not frizzy at all. Love it, and will definitely buy it again and again.

Update: it did NOT hold up. I went to animal kingdom and within 5 minutes of sweating my hair was huge and curling. I ended up just putting it in a ponytail. Which I’m trying not to do because they damage my hair but I still have yet to find a product that works. The image with straight hair and the image with my weird face and crazy hair are before animal kingdom and immediately after entering the park.
Get ready, this is a long review…. The red shirt photos are after blow drying my hair. The big smile one was immediately after while I was still in ac, and the other one was my hair after being in humidity for a few minutes. As you can see, my hair gets pretty fluffy… I bought this because I’m easily influenced and I just moved to Florida. My hair has been getting on my nerves and I’ve tried a million products. They all help with flyaways but none of them prevent full on humidity hair. This product does! It actually keeps my hair mostly humidity free! There are a few spots that get kinda wavy but that’s an issue with my application. However, everyone raved about how shiny and soft this makes hair. My hair feels gummy and weird. I’m used to straw-like hair from the hard water in Missouri. My hair’s never been softer in Florida, but this undid all that glorious softness 😭 I had to use two other anti-frizz and moisture products to make it soft. It still doesn’t shine, though 🤷🏼♀️ I also don’t like that I have to blow dry and straighten it to activate it. I want my natural curls but I can’t afford a diffuser or anything so I have to just blow dry it like normal and then it looks weird. Also, I have POTS so when I stand for too long, especially after a hot shower and ESPECIALLY with my arms over my head, I get close to passing out. That is, of course, not the product’s problem. It’s just something to be aware of if you struggle to style hair for medical reasons. You MUST style your hair with this product. Anyway, sorry that was so long…. Hope this helped 👍🏻

I used this twice. I have thick, hard to straighten hair, so the first time I only used this, no other products. My hair was a hot mess by the next day, but i also live in Florida and it is humid out. The next time i used some of my other products and oils and it lasted longer. But honestly, i could’ve gotten the same results with the combination of products i used, so after I’m done with the bottle, i won’t be buying another. It is too expensive to not work on its own. Also it’s a watery spray so it’s hard to get on all of my hair and i have to use a lot. It does smell good and I’m sure would work on someone with more manageable hair but it really had very little effect on mine.

This product works well for my hair to control frizz during a heat wave. You have to use a lot, at least I do, it didn’t work the first time I used it but everytime after where I used way more of the product it was awesome! The only thing I notice that is important to point out is the product seems to lose effectiveness after a certain number of days. Which for me typically has always been around a day before my hair wash day, so it is no big deal. I am looking forward to using this product on vacation in high humidity areas.

Geiles Produkt. Ich kann es wirklich nur empfehlen. Beim ersten Versuch war ich etwas enttäuscht. Die Haare waren trotzdem ruhig. Ich glaub ich hab es nicht richtig gemacht. Seitdem habe ich meine Zunge starken locken im Griff. Eigentlich wollte ich für solche Produkte nicht mehr so viel Geld ausgeben, hier lohnt es sich aber man braucht wenig Produkt und Es ist auch eine große Menge für den Preis. Im Großen und Ganzen ist es also Okay. Wirklich aufs feuchte/nasser Haar auftragen. Bei mir reicht es lediglich, die Haare etwas glatt an zu föhnen. Dann lass ich sie Luft trocknen und glätte sie mit dem Glätteisen. Perfekt.

I absolutely love ColorWow Extra Strength Dream Coat! It’s fantastic for making my hair look healthier and shinier. While it doesn’t quite tackle frizz as well as advertised on naturally wavy or curly hair, it does help keep straight hair looking smoother and lasting longer. My only complaint is that you need to use quite a bit of the product on longer hair, so the bottle doesn’t last as long as I’d like. Despite that, it’s definitely worth it for the healthy, sleek look it gives.
