This product works sooo much better than the fiber sprays I’ve seen used. You can easily blend it in with your finger or brush. No harsh lines.

This is an old favourite for me. I gave it five stars some years ago and it’s still my go to for a quick touch up. I am getting on now and do dye my hair regularly. I used to use this product to touch up roots if I noticed re growth before leaving the house. Very quick fix.
I now use it to help me grow out my dyed hair. Letting your greys and silvers grow out can be quite a challenge. I have succumbed and re dyed twice! This product is helping to shade the really lighter areas that makes my hair look like it has lots of different shades. Helps me keep confidence in how I look.

I was skeptical on buying this product but glad I did. I only tried the Madison Reed powder and it seems not to cover all of the gray hairs anymore. So far so good with this product, dark brown is a great match for my hair color and will make the switch to Color WOW.

This product is so worth it. I can go at least 6 weeks between salon visits only because I use this hair powder!!! My grey roots start showing at 3 weeks but brush this on and it’s like magic. Greys are gone. I don’t wash my hair everyday so it stays on without touching it up too. I have been using this product for years. I won’t use anything else!!!

I found a video from Color Wow that showed a woman who incidentally had some exposed scalp, and showed how this covered it up. I ordered some and tried it for my thinning/balding front of my scalp, and by following the suggested technique, which is to part the hair and tap the make-up directly onto the scalp, the end result is quite sensational. From far and even rather up close, it looks like natural hair follicles, rather than “painting” the scalp a certain colour, and as long as I don’t get any within 5mm of my hairline, I don’t have any fear that anyone will be able to tell.
it doesn’t transfer to my pillowcase or anywhere really, if I apply it correctly. I even play 2 hours of high intensity sweaty sports with it on, and it doesn’t drip down my face or anything like that. The only caveat is that if you scratch your head, which you’ll inevitably do, you’ll get it under your nails. But for me that’s a perfectly fine compromise given that I’m more insecure about my balding than getting anything under my nails.
One last thing to mention is that it washes out very easy with shampoo, which is great, but the dirty shampoo will mildly stain shower curtains, and the make-up will not come out perfectly from white towels if you’re not careful (again, the stain is relatively mild), but again for me it is a fine price to pay. Maybe I’ll just decide some of my towels are specifically for this kind of thing.
(It wouldn’t surprise me if women are reading this laughing at the obvious conclusions I’m arriving at, but hey, this is the only make-up I’ve ever used!)

After reading some of the reviews I decide to give it a try. It works great. I have thinning hair on top and this really creates the illusion of having more hair. And then as a bonus, I thought hmmmm, I wonder if it works on brows. I have decent brows but they are not quite what they were when I was younger. Well, it does!!!! Super great and I highly recommend it. A bit pricey, but worth every penny!!

My hair is very dark brown and grows quickly. After coloring I can see hints of grey after about 8 days. I have tried everything to cover grey between coloring. This product is hands down the best thing I have ever used to cover grey. Worth every penny!

In between hair coloring? This is an excellent product for covering gray hair. It allows for precise application with two brush sizes. Unlike sprays it does not dull your hair and there is no waste because you can place color exactly where it is needed. The coverage is complete and very natural looking and it is less expensive that other products or options.

Easy to apply and works well. Stays put all day and washes out easily in the shower. Great fix for when you’re in between salon visits. I can’t attest to the price point as this is the only root/hair powder I’ve purchased, but it does seem a bit steep. Product comes in a small eyeshadow looking box, and hair powder is the same consistency as that of eyeshadow. Great pigment deposit. Also comes with a double ended applicator. Overall, great product but a bit on the pricier side.

Bought this as an alternative to the spray-on product for root cover up between salon visits. As a brunette, it can be tough to camouflage white roots because of the stark contrast. This powder doesn’t do much and doesn’t stay long. It makes my roots look dusty gray instead of white…not great coverage.
